If 8bus doesn’t put up a new thread soon, maybe a Chelsea supporter since Chelsea won the FA Cup? Or, just have BAIDS do it
I always thought of him as a Spuds supporter...dont know why. Might be a too distant memory

anyways 8bus should do it def. I want to see the miracle of a City title win description with Fraudguero headlining

oh, totally. I just don't know if he'll do it and is fully familiar with our tradition of having supporters of the winning sides do the OP

It's obviously new Arsenal signing Guendouzi in an away kit

Just looked at the futures, and Wolves are favoured to finish in the top half of the table.

Same odds as Lester, tied for 8th. Bumley is 10th

They must have some quality, I guess..

Da fuq?
Yea they're pretty good. Plus they got $ (actually pounds or whatever currency their owner makes his money in). Also the bottom half of the Prem is pretty bad

So Andy Carroll and Winston Reid have been ruled out for three months, and a few non - reputable sources on Twitter are suggesting this is the cause:

Hoopie, please tell me it's true, even if it's not.

I have a second guess I would like to submit as a reverse test of the original poster to verify correctness. I know this probably violates decorum, so apologies to those offended.

My summer reading consists of some footy books (currently reading Brilliant Orange). I've also found an elite site that basically has every game ever played on it so I've been revisiting some of the "great teams" from the 70s and 80s.

What was the general consensus to abolishing the pass back to the keeper rule? Was it a big deal to overturn at the time and a lot of people were against it? Because it's the absolute WOAT way to watch and play a game.

Read some book on the history of the EPL recently and it said tons of people were vehemently opposed to it. The first season and a half with the new rule sounded freakin' hilarious with most of the keepers having no clue what to do when they received a pass.

From my recollection, no one really pulised the old backpass option that much.i.e pass back and forth from CBS to gk after going a goal up. But it was early on in my watching career that it changed so I could be wrong.

Hi guys

Im looking at running a Calcutta auction for my friends in Australia. How calcuttas work are here

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calcutta_auction

Il be doing mine in a private facebook group, with one new auction every day in a new chat thread. If 24hrs elapses without an increase in the bid for each team, that auction is "won" by the bidder. Multiple auctions can be going on at any one time.

Bids will start with the top teams and move slowly down the list to the higher equity teams (for both the title, and for relegation).

If anyone is interested let me know, and if we want to run a similar one for the forum we can (as a silent auction instead with people PMing me their picks, and every day having a new team up for auction etc...) I won't play in that case, and Il find a trustworthy person to hold the funds in that case.

Also, if anyone thinks any of the base prices are out let me know (if a team is not bid for, I will pick them up for the base price). I am in the process of doing the same for a Game of Thrones Auction, which has been insane ($400 base price for 43 characters total, pool projected to each $18k)
