maybe he'll bring Mertens if Hazard leaves

Hamsik, Koulibaly, and others are also most welcome

just one more football intangible.
It's also hard when you stop running hot. Like we coasted to second this year despite being **** because of rungood. Opposite of last season.

I think the John Terry influence has been a major factor. His dressing room influence, despite barely playing, was massive.

My first signing would be getting him back, in the back room staff

“I am honoured to have signed a new long-term contract as we approach one of the most significant periods in the Club's history and be the manager that will lead this team into our new world-class stadium,” Pochettino said.

"This is just one of the factors that makes this one of the most exciting jobs in world football and we are already making plans to ensure we continue to build on the great work that everyone has contributed to over the past four years.

"Daniel and I have spoken at length about our aspirations for this football club. We both share the same philosophies to achieve long-term, sustainable success.

"This is a special club - we always strive to be creative in the way we work both on and off the pitch and will continue to stick to our principles in order to achieve the success this Club deserves."

Exactly, if only mourinho had that influence to call on during his last year it wouldn't have all gone tits up.

Think the main objective is to keep the players and add a bit longer bench. Are any of the startes rumored to be out the door?

Variance or just him being a mental midget with sub-par finishing skills?

Is there an example of a striker that has come as far as Morata but was really just a mental midget with below par finishing skills long term? I can think of some that were accused of that before regressing toward the mean...

Agree, it's huge. Levy must have either satisfied Poch of the clubs ambitions, or given him a whacking great pay rise*, but probably both.

Alderwiereld looks like he's gone, and Dembele will also probably leave. I think we would sell Rose if we got a half decent offer too.

All the rest are locked to long-term deals are appear to be happy. Eriksen is the only pressing issue, as I think he just has 2 years left.

Entertaining, but Villa will probably beat them and they'll then lose Sessegnon and not get as close next season.

On this topic, I'm always surprised when I learn that some of the merry-go-round managers like Allardyce and Pards were pro footballers, even though rationally I know they must've been. I just can't picture it.

Don't forget Giggs, Ancelotti, Mancini and Lombardo

Always surprising how people forget Ancelotti as a player.

2 European Cups
3 Serie A titles
4 Coppa Italias
1 UEFA Super Cup
1 Intercontinental Cup
3rd place in 1990 World Cup
