got myself predators when i was like 13yo because they looked so cool. had blisters everywhere for a year because they just wouldnt mold to my feet.

i bought some synthetic nike mercurial vapors 3 years ago for 40€ on sale, best boots ive had. i'd still use them if the studs hadnt worn out.

The more I read about Wenger's departure, the more I think he might have been sacked.

Caught an interview he gave to talk****e a few years ago about how he got his chance in England through to the predators. If it's all true he deserves everything he has got.

Well worth a listen if you can find it.

I think it was 'mutual' which means they told him to announce his decision to retire or get the unceremonious sack.

He would never have left on his own goodwill I dont think.

I really hope we can surprise Atletico and have a proper sendoff which he deserves.

Our defense though. Woulndt mind us starting with 5 at thr back tbh especially with Elneny out.

I went a bit offtopic but yeah, I think he was told these are his options. This leads me to believe we have an agreement with someone already thus he had to leave.

Apparently he was on 2% of predators revenue but blew it all on something called "supaskills" and was broke and homeless in 2004. Now he works as a photographer.

About to go play my first match of the season, in April, in Winnipeg so I'll report back how many other people have the same condition as Seri.

Edit: Broke my shin playing 3 years ago, first year back playing how is the top Nike shoe $400 USD now? That's ridiculous.
Soccer.com (which is **** for everything else) sale section on football boots ftw. Have done Warrior and top end Puma's in the past for "$250+" that I got for under $80. Currently wearing "$279.99" New Balance's that I got for $60 after a bunch of discounts and I absolutely love them

****ing hell. He was really starting to look the part.

Call back Milner from retirement or else England might have to start Livermore or something like that.

Feel bad for Ox. The injury looked to be an awful one.

Ugh that stinks for ox. has to be a torn acl then? Hopefully he can be back in 6-7 mos similar to mendy

I think Oxlaide-Chamberlain is going to do alright out of this injury.

Negatives:
- Horrendous pain and a serious injury that may impact him for his whole life.
- Misses the Big Cup final.

Positives:
- Misses out on having to participate in an ultimately disappointing World Cup campaign.
- As a result he gets to spend an extended summer dropping disco biscuits in 'Beefa (albeit on crutches).

It's a blessing in disguise IMO.

Mane injured. Not sure how bad yet.

Wouldn't surprise me if he gets picked up by BBC/ITV to do punditry too so he can actually be the one talking about how disappointing everyone else is

Someone needs to pick up Crouch for a pundit gig

So the FA are considering selling Wembley to some sort of caricature evil billionaire.

For £600m. It cost nearly a billion to build. What the hell is going on how can you sell the national stadium and sell it for less than it cost to build?

He must be delighted tbh. As we have learned from the Carrick article most players get depressed playing for England

looks like the fa will retain the right to host the cup final and england games at wembley. seems fine imo

downside is that FA loses out on revenue from hiring it out for concerts and the like, which they are most likely crap at since its not their core focus (or at least shouldn't be). shrug. only reason its owned by the FA in the first place is cos no1 else wanted to put up the money to build the thing

end result we get the use of stadium until it falls apart plus most of the money it cost to build the stadium, which can be spent on providing shinpads to disadvantaged youths

There are far more large stadiums in London capable of holding gigs or other events now (Emirates, Olympic Stadium, new Spurs and Chelsea stadiums in the pipeline). Also, Wembley was 287 times over budget or whatever, which is further going to decouple its cost from its value.
