Not a huge fan of the megaphone guys but they def keep chanting going, there's no doubt. Problem is that it's always the same and prevents reaction to what's happening on the pitch. At home our setup is that there's Capos in the middle of the terrace only (blocks N3-N6 iirc) and at the sides you don't hear them much.

Tbtvditw *should* mean that clubs can bring back standing and sell a bunch of tickets for like ten quid esp in a huge stadium like Old Trafford. But it turns out rich people are greedy. I hope they don't erode the fan ownership model even more around here, but know it's coming.

I don't quite get how the general British opinion is that organised chanting Eurostyle is never going to work, but at the same time all chants are started by a few people in a small area anyway which isn't really any different

It isn't that it isn't going to work, I just think it is annoying.

It is very annoying but ultimately preferable to piped in muzak that the marketing department like

Agreed. I went to a PSG game last summer and it was really kind of annoying.

Our clever marketing department decided to put clappers in each seat for the first five games. I think we deserve to be relegated on that alone.

I can easily see why, as a self-professed Cyber-Terrorist Working for Hilary Clinton, you are so scornful of this kind of crude, meat-space solution. But just think: the marketing department, at the cost of a single bit, could have instead placed slappers in each seat for the first five games. Probably, at minimal bit-cost, changing the season ticket fans' attitude to the club going down on them.

However, gl, but I do fear for the worst for you and West Ham.

At least The Dell and Upton Park, just like the Hawthorns, won't look embarrassingly empty in the Championship.

Are CL odds to advance out anywhere yet? I want to take 8bus up on his h2h offer for the City/Pool tie
03-22-2018 , 10:28 AM
Liverpool 2/1, City 1/2. Which surprised me as I thought Citeh would be shorter

Man City @ 1.50
Pool @ 3.00

or -200 vs 200 if I understand anything about odds from the US of A.
03-22-2018 , 11:23 AM
Yeah I'll have a few shekels on Citeh at that price. Will let 8bus fill his boots first though.
03-22-2018 , 11:28 AM
That's vig free? So for thread purposes we can keep it at 1/2 2/1?

So my $25 to your $50 or my $50 to your $100 8bus?

I'd put my money on whatever bet LFC is suggesting not taking place odds 23/12

ibrahimovic released from contract

ten million quid well spent

the lesson to be learned is that signing a 35 year old who just destroyed his cruciate ligament to a 12 month deal is not good business

I would like City as well if there are any takers left after 8bus and joe.

thread on reddit right now. curious to see your guys opinions as its international break:

player vs player. whos better and why? post your own also:

Eriksen vs Coutinho

Sergio Aguero vs Gonzalo Higuain

Luis Figo vs David Beckham

Xavi vs Iniesta
03-22-2018 , 02:02 PM
Eriksen I guess, but it's close

Aguero, and I want to say it's not particularly close but I can't really say I've watched much Serie A the last few years

Figo, and I was a huge Becks fanboy

No idea, lean Xavi
03-22-2018 , 02:12 PM
I would say Eriksen, but this might very easily change 1 year from now.

Aguero, but I would say it much closer than what people might normally think.

FIGOOOO!!!

Iniesta w/o Xavi > Xavi w/o Iniesta. For that reason I would say Iniesta.

Eto'o vs Drogba
