trippier can neither defend nor provide the athleticism to get out of trouble when he makes errors. walker is clearly better imo. trippier tilts the **** out of me when he is defending near the byline. he stands miles off his man to not get beat and let's them pick out whatever cross they want. his passing is great though.

agree that walker clearly more athletic/better vs pace and vs people going straight at him, which is why walker > trippier. But with most spurs fans in the wild what trippier brings going forward is crazy underrated and for spurs I'll take trippier's overall quality in the buildup over walker's awesome counters
