Kit, can also say strip.

Jersey is also moronic, it shirt or top.
06-15-2017 , 01:47 PM
Yeah definitely do not say "uniform"
06-15-2017 , 01:52 PM
I like the use of 1 syllable words over 3...but kit or strip? Meh. Maybe I just won't talk about what they wear anymore.
06-15-2017 , 01:56 PM
If the use of 'uniform' was bad. Someone say goaltender was even worse.

So I can't call them "games"?
06-15-2017 , 02:11 PM
Cina

Predictions before first game but think we'll have to send the trophy to the Etihad - haven't followed transfer news too closely but looks like City are buying everyone. Reasonable chance TSO is reunited with Diego in China from January.

using american terms have the advantage of annoying all the most boring posters while at the same time not making you sound like a complete poseur

Didn't even make first page, disappointing.

Game is fine tbh. Should probably make a list and add it to the OP.

Spoiler:
I only count PL teams as teams because those are the only games I watch & I don't have an interest in adopting a lower-level team.

I might as well watch MLS @ that point.

Fair enough, you can start supporting the bulls in about six years time then.

As long as we're not calling them "the whites", or as they were often known in their Hereford United days, the "all whites".

That's exactly my point.

B'Mouth is NOT Soton's biggest rival, despite the fact they are in spitting distance of each other.

Manchester United has a fiercer rivalry with Plop, than they do with City.

Plop and Everton have a "friendly rivalry".

So once again, I was correct and as usual some of the Limey bastages here have to nitpick a certain word or phrase to belittle and LFC_USA has to post some stupid .GIF that no one understands, but I guess it makes the wannabee Pommie feel better about himself.

English Football 2017-2018 thread..as good, if not better than the 2016-2017 one..

They don't. Hillsborough brought the City together but we still hate each other when we play.

The part that I don't actually understand is how you can maintain a heated rivalry when you literally haven't played each other in over 5 years.

Almost need a separate thread for yanks at this stage. Some exemptions possible with my permission would be the best setup.

Uhhh, perhaps you "literally" possess memory capabilities longer than five years?

I know that's a "literally" bewildering suggestion to inhabitants of Donald trump/fast and the furious 27 land but like totally give it some thought dude.
