Sturridge is about a Benteke in value. I remember being laughed at on here for saying that a few years ago when Sturridge was on that beast mode. I think the argument centered around the definition of the word 'decent' in a player context.
Origi is basically nowhere near the talent of Sturridge but he, like Heskey before him, is getting the great managerial benefit of the doubt for passing the 'heart', 'desire', 'run around a lot' eye test. Sturridge fails on these grounds, like Berba or Ozil.
