To be fair, Eltbus prob thinks the top 4 trophy is actually a trophy.

To be clear - as you all are probably aware - I'm not the type of supporter to prove city is better than x because of y. I agree more than anyone city had a disappointing season. I'm a masochist when it comes to sports. I don't care about proving city's season was better than any one else's.

It's just funny to be people actually care about there Europa league when as baids said it's simply a backdoor to the champions league and people care because something something hardware. It's dumb.

I mean, citeh are clearly the third/fourth best club this season. There's a tiny edge between finishing 3rd and 4th, but overall it's pretty meh, but in any case if you were better than Liverpool then wd.

But, otoh, that's not a bad return for having the most money of anyone in the league and employing the coach that crushed at other clubs with a similar financial advantage.

Obviously we sort by trophies. If not then why even play. In 10 years time if we look back on this season it will be Chelsea won the league, Arsenal won the FA Cup and Utd won the Europa and League Cup. Noone will talk about City finishing 3rd and playing nice football.

Again this isnt saying Utd had some really impresive season because they didnt. They just had the 2nd best season of all the teams in the EPL.

Edit: and as per usual, lol at Eltbus. Yes, there's some results oriented thinking involved, but, I'll happily take two Mickey Mouse trophies+CL next year over skalansky bucks. Truth be told, it's not like United were utterly dire on the whole this season. I enjoyed watching them more than LvG Zombie football last year. That's not to say that United were unlucky or any sorts of bollocks that may be said, but, this year was a decent step forward even with Mou as coach. I'm hoping next season will be better and it will be easier to make a decision at that time as to what Mou's tenure will look like for United.

Just because Mourinho winning as many trophies in his 1st season as Wenger has in 10 years was a disappointing season doesn't mean we can't still lol at the other clubs
