Liverpool's trip to Australia feels more like a bachelor weekend than a football match

What position does he play? I feel comfortable naming him one of the top prospects in European football already tbh

Central defender. Award him the Ballon d'Or and move on.

also says a lot about Ireland that you not knowing whether we were strong in that position could still have meant anywhere.

Although, you probably do have a decent idea when it comes to gk in fairness

Yes, Randolph underlines my "Irish **** at West Ham" theory. The only one that I can think was a slight success was Joey O'Brien. I won't count Lomas and Michael Hughes as they were (I assume) proddy types. We spent £600,000 on David Kelly (when that was a fair sum) and he spent his entire spell for us falling over. David Connolly did a decent job, I guess. Liam Brady using a zimmerframe for a season (maybe two season?) was awesome, but everyone knew about him already.

Didn't Liam Brady play for West Ham at some point?

See the last line. To be fair, that was about the last time it was worth the entrance fee. The main problem was that he made you realise just how bad the rest of the side was since he was our best player by miles and he was there to top up his pension.

Surprised by this. Palace could easily be top 10 next season...not sure what better jobs there are out there for Big Sam.

Holiday for next 9 months then com back and collect his keep team in PL bonus. What's not to like.

Hoopie, I think the likes of Lomas still count as Irish

Converted for you:

I'll have to get myself one of them.

Does he get the bonus if he doesn't stay until the 1st of September?

Some Italian dude just bought 50% of Leeds.

Wonder if he'll run them properly.
