Think after spending 35m on mustafi and xhaka that expectations amongst arsenal fans were very high, especially after hammering Chelsea in Oct

Lol at that being a good chance

That's a good season, no?

Realistically at the start of the season no one would have tipped Arsenal honestly to win the league. Has finishing 2nd last year meant he can't finish lower?
It suits you just fine if we don't win anything ever.

I think most Arsenal fans aren't vehemently anti-Wenger. They're just very apathetic towards the constant 4th places and underachievement in the same spots against good teams that they would rather see a change and take the bigger risk of finishing 5th to also increase the chance of winning the league.

Chelsea where still at 6s and 7s then though, seems like its a similar case to Plop.

Started like a Tesla get everyone excited but over the course you always know that the Ferrari and McLaren are going to win.

So much passing it around the box waiting for the striker to be in position to tap it in.
Then realising there isn't a striker in the side.

Arrived in Peterborough, definitely big coat weather

Arsenal love those handball goals don't they?

Obviously it does. There are only 4 trophies up for grabs every year. Someone has to miss out. You've won FA cups in recent years.

Spurs, Everton haven't won anything for ages. Some reason people think you're entitled to win the league.

I disagree that these teams have been underachieving, when exactly have Arsenal been favourites for the league at the start of the season in the last 5 years or so.

They're never amongst the favourites for the CL either. Maybe he just needs a huge chunk of luck in there.

Seems he's using all his luck in this years premier league campaign...

That's one hell of an out of date F1 analogy. Or do McLaren and Ferrari refer to Arsenal and Man Utd?

Where would Arse be if they didn't run so good?

Yeah and I mean it's not like a new coach will instantly make everything better, but in two or three years maybe. Better than another two or three years of Wenger.

No.

Meant Arsenal and Plop being Tesla and starting like a bullet out a gun, then half way through the season the ones you expect to win Chelsea, City enviably catch up and over take.

With Plop and Arsenal starting so well, you never thought they'd go the distance. Everyone always said wait until the pressure starts in March for Arsenal etc

Hope Hull stay up as I have enjoyed watching them this season. Unlike some of their relegation peers.

People must think Alexis has the quickest reactions oat if they seriously think he meant that
