Without being too spoilery, the action certainly starts to pick up from around episode four. Less long scenes of cringeworthy, sleep-inducing dialogue. VV is getting more opportunity to show what he's capable of.

I'm still pretty confused by all the characters and loose ends, and not saying it's good by any means, but with one 90 minute episode left I'm a bit more emotionally invested absolutely looking forward to seeing how things turn out.

It's the entitlement that pisses me off the most I think. A growing number of fans think that paying for a ticket entitles them to see a glorious victory every week, and when they don't get what they want they then feel entitled to shout racist / homophobic abuse at whichever player or official they choose to victimise. I don't enjoy being a part of it any more, and I'm hesitant to expose my daughter to it.
Totally agree, the match-going experience these days is usually ruined by idiots.

We must be getting old.

I go to watch Wasps quite a bit and it's a much better crowd than football. Not got the same level of atmosphere though.

For those who can still access Paddy power, they're doing the free £2 bet every time a player scores if you back him to be top scorer.

I realized all the fans were ******ed when I was 21. Haven't gone to a game since.

Edit: I'm now 27

The Burnley attendance records are daft seeing as they are larger than the population of Burnley itself. Pretty sure there's a stat that they're the best supported club in terms of average attendance as a % of population.

800 years in the future and population remains the same apparently...

Ye but that sim is assuming that Burnley goes from being one of the smallest towns in the top few divisions to the biggest club in England...

Celtic's average attendance is 576,000!

That's pretty meaningless considering pretty much every stadium in the UK serves exclusively piss-water.

1,000 seasons and nobody scored 10, lol
