Shaqiri is underrated. Most of all by himself. If he trusted a bit more in himself and his abilities (like he does when playing for Switzerland) he'd be elite (and most definitely not in talks with LÖL Stöke).
11v10 spurs had zero good ideas in the last twenty minutes, really missed dembele. I know it's on the road and everybody's tired but spurs super fortunate to get out of there with three points. Feels good man.
That Everton-Stokalona game was great. Thanks EPL for playing extra footy during christmas/new years while other leagues are on break. Loving this ****.
Shoutout to Mark Fng Hughes for playing a front 4 of Afelay - Bojan - Shairi - Arnautovic
I think we're only a couple years away from all of the donks gone from the management game. Just seems to be a higher caliber of through process these days
Ighalo goal was in fact kind of lucky because of the deflection off Dier that goes back in his path. He totally manhandled poor Eric though. He has beasted everyone this season so maybe harsh to be that critical, but it was still lol defending imo.
Ighalo super lucky not to get a red. He was involved in every altercation and iyam it should be a season ban for busting up young Tommy Carroll's nose and making him bleed with an intentional shot to the face.
Unreal how terrible we were up a man. I'm not sure we ever truly had possession from 79 min to 89 min. Just incredible. Son had to be offside there, but take a bow son for the reverse backheel nutmeg goal. Lol at NBC for not giving a replay in the post-game.
Perhaps our biggest problem this game was lack of pace. We got on a fair few breaks, but always with Lamela and Kane who are pretty damn slow. That is what Sonny will bring to the team when he is fully fit and in favor again. He would totally change those situations. And even in possession play you can just see he is mentally on another level compared to most of the players. He and Eriksen have a good connection.
