Maybe Arsenal/Wenger thought it was special coq ability that was the difference but in reality it's a positional thing and any fairly good dm would have been a useful addition.

It's a lot easier stop Ozil putting his stamp on things when Santi ain't on the pitch though. The clever areas ozil takes up offensively and during transitions require a player of Cazorla's ability to find. I honestly feel we miss Santi more at this time then we do Coq, even though Flamini is clearly way out of his depth.

Btw if you want parity then brazilian league is even more sick.

There is usally a team that runs away with around 75-80ish point but second place rarely passes 70 points. Every single year there are different teams fighting for top 4. Its preety sick.

S.K, LO...what was the reason for Kone not featuring vs Newcastle? Was it only fitness/rotation? Otherwise it feels weird because Lukaku/Kone seemed to be working like a charm

it's probably mostly fitness/rotation. Lennon/mirallas earning a chance and Kone being ineffective in the last couple of matches factors too

Bob is prone to a little occasional button-clicking (see the substitution of Ross for Besic yesterday) and he's also aware that Kone doesn't hold his fitness well, so I wouldn't read much more into it than that. It surely wasn't an advanced tactical selection.

Apparently the Leyton Orient owner went down behind the dug out and started shouting during the match yesterday, which they won. The Assistant Manager complained about it after the game and the owner ****ing kicked him! Shown below
