Nice call on clevs LVG

Woww Martinez bailed out , horrible sub's . 3 points is nice!

LVG's tenure has been way worse than anything Moyes did imo, especially when you consider how much LVG has spent and the players he has allowed to leave.

A colossal *** up if ever i saw one.

Only possible way to account for squad depth and or injuries is using payroll as a weighted regression factor.

I can't judge Everton as a team, but their PDO is sky high which suggests that they likely won't continue to convert shots into goals/ their keepers won't continue to make saves at the same rates. Maybe Everton players have really good shot selection/ force opponents to take shots from bad locations (xG anyone), but teams basically never sustain a PDO that far away from 100

come on you saints

no tadders or pelle sucks, so i guess it isup to mane and PROWSEY

PDO is a terribly misleading stat for Everton as we generally dominate possession and very rarely actually shoot at goal. If/when we manage to effectively convert offensive possession to shots on target I expect our PDO to drop and our league points total to rocket skywards.

We were ~30 seconds away from failing to win the fifth consecutive game despite crushing the opposition for the majority of the match. Everton are a much better team than results would suggest this season.
