English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league English Football 2015-16 - Leicester City won the league

The other vs City at home, if they score 1st they will win. I know I sound like Michael Owen saying that but our record at coming from behind (ooo errr) is very poor.

Apparently though United have no full time scouts. That seems less than optimal.

It really is amazing how often you see them stuck in some sequence that ends in a Mignolet backpass followed by him bungling around or a nailbiter to Skrtel who promptly passes it 20 yards up to the opposition.

I thought Klopp was a genius and close to solving the game

clyne is their outlet and then the other midfielders push up not onto clyne but his passing option (aka henderson, coutinho) so that there is no space for them to turn and run and the ball is then forced backwards or into marginal duels or is lost

but if the fb's + midfield can beat the mighty watford press they can be dangerous and maybe you wouldn't have firmino never ever getting the ball in space to attack a fb or cb

Aren't Wigan meant to be SMASHING the league?
12-22-2015 , 08:06 PM
Wait, Wigan are playing in League 1?

Don't you get some of tbtvditw in the form of "parachute money" when you relegate from the prem? What happened to money == success, BAIDS?

Thinking our midfield is incapable of finding positions to help our fbs beat a press is just plain wrong. We have done fine in this regard this season. What cost us in this game was our inability to adapt at any point to the playing surface. Continually playing misplaced passes from the back along with heavy touches played right into their hands.

It's def not a midfield personnel problem. They had options same as every other game, they just couldn't find them

Pool just couldn't get pass the Rockwall dm spurs reject capoue.

Tbf capoue has been phenomenal for watford and is likely a bigger reason for their success than ighalos sun running.

it takes a whole team to do simple stuff together to beat a half arsed press like watfords, cos their line is pretty deep so its really lol that it basically never happened

its not some incredible technical masterful thing you need, cb to fb to cm1 to dm who waits and releases cm1 after he moves into a pocket of space or has time to find a forward or fb after defender moves towards cm1

lolklopp but mostly lolplop

Just more shrewd transfer business from Levy

As said, the defensive contributions of our wingers and giroud have been incredible. Kos has been amazing building from the back. Everyone has been great, but the game at St Marys is just as valuable and we need 3 there as well.
Believe! This could legit be the greatest achievement in sporting memory!

What? He's pretty much the undisputed best coach in the world.

Why would they? Biggest club in the world. Everyone wants to play for them so why bother with all that riff raff.

I guess thats the problem when Sir Alex controls everything, you have to hire 43 new people to do each individual job.

Including organising the payments for Clattenberg's hair transplants. Those payments stop and Liverpool get 3 penalties at Old Trafford? No coincidence is it.

Not sure about this. I've read empirical studies that in the PL era, Liverpool have received many more penalties than one would expect, and United way fewer.

On my phone so can't link unfortunately
