when will they buy Salah from Roma? They already have Ibarbo and now Iturbe, if they bought Salah, then Watford would have three useless pacey RW from Roma on their bench.

--------

No need for pace upfront if Demicheles and Magala are playing in CD.

the Mourinho to United noise is becoming a little too loud to be completely unfounded.

So I guess it's close to being confirmed then. Club has been run into the ground. Commence a decade-plus spell of the revolving door of managers and vile incompetency that the club has been subject to at every level for the last 3 years. Long term health can not, and apparently should not, be had at the expense of temporary success.

I think MF was responding to fanny's Ighalo post, making the point that he'd take him because if Feo/Alexis get injured you have no pace up front.

I'm sure he'd jump at the chance but I hope we aren't that stupid. EdWoodwoat loves himself some big names though.

I'm just about having a meltdown from reading united supporter forums. Granted it may not be a consensus, but a worrying number of fans have changed their minds almost overnight on Mourinho and people are already starting to seem desperate for him.

The logic is so backwards it's incredible. LVG has us playing boring football; solution? Bring in the most negative/cynical (top-level) manager of the 21st century.
The rationalization process is incredible to behold. The emotionally charged frenzy that everybody has whipped themselves into accompanied by excessive knee-jerking resembles nothing other than a mad, angry mob.
12-21-2015 , 10:16 AM
Then again pretty much everyone except for maybe Pulis is an improvement compared to LVG.

correct.

Arsenal, United, Crewe aside which teams have had long term managers in the last 20-30 years? 3 years seems about right as long as you know that in advance and can plan accordingly, long and short term, with that knowledge. I don't know about you but if I start a job in something I sure hope the employers don't think I'm buying into staying 20 years. Mourinho is a no brainer for united instead of trying to turn giggs into something he probably isn't.

All this SPOTY talk always makes me so sad for you English/Euros. Tennis? Boxing? driving cars? and riding a bike? Those are mainstream sports?? You got elite football but after that it's pretty dire

Jose would be great and so much better than LvG for the rest of the season. We're pretty much at rock bottom anyway. Heck having Steve Kean would be better than LvG!

I don't think we should go for Jose though, I'd love it if we made a right good go at pep. If we can't get him with Carlo going to Bayern.

That leaves Simone (whose linked with Chelsea) and Jose let as the elite managers or coaches left in world football.

Football, Tennis and cricket (although it's crap) are pretty much the 3 main sports world wide not just in Euroland.

Golf, rugby aren't far behind.

I always thought cycling, boxing and 'racing cars' was big in yank land too.

mun fans who want jose are just losing their minds cos they've had to endure the horror of two and a half long years without winning anything, poor babies

Joe Root not being nominated for the 12 was a joke bearing in mind he became the #1 batsman ITW.

More that LvG needs to go to stop playing that utter boring crap.

Joses bus is way more entertaining than LvG square and back. Even with his bus his teams do still attack now and again.

I don't know what would work for Mun, but I really rate Simeone higher than Mou or Pep.

Football is really the only sport worth anything. What's second doesnt matter because all the rest are dreadful.

Not enough lolz for this statement. Boxing hasn't been relevant for like 10 years, but even if it were there's what, like 2 matches worth watching a year?

I think people enjoy a ride on the bike. Legitimately don't know one person who enjoys watching it or talking about competitve cycling. I'd bet 98% of people couldn't name one active cycler and only know 1-nut Lance. Boxing was covered above and with the rise of MMA is completely and totally irrelevant here. And what few people remained I think are done after that Pacquio-Mayweather match. That Fury thing with Klitschko was sad to watch too. And the type of people racing cars is big with here, aren't exactly the types of people you want to assosciate yourselves with in an argument

And cricket? How can the lol baseball is boring people then boast cricket as a legit sport? One lasts 3 hours, one lasts 3 days
