12-20-2015 , 03:47 PM
they could get relegated and it would be 100% brent's fault

Random thought : 2 days after Mourinho is gone, Chelsea get their 1st penalty of the season

Confirmed conspiracy

Seems like it will be an epic battle for 3-4 according to Caley's model.

Lol at Murray being SPOTY

Lol SPOTY

Shambles it's not fury

Gary Lineker injures himself on the trophy. The first domino in Leicester's collapse...?
12-20-2015 , 05:56 PM
pools midfield and fb play is such a disaster zone

zero passing options to build from the back, zero PROGRESSIONS, all of j hend and lallana and phil and moreno think they are strikers and make accordingly suitable runs and frustrated gestures when their cb cant in fact play them in from 49 yards away

Model is flawed as Chelsea are 0% for relegation

Obviously rogged.

Fury is the 2nd British world champion heavy weight boxer after Lennox Lewis.

Murray won a team tournament that nobody gives a flying **** about.

It's like Tony Dorigo being voted PFA player of the year for winning the zenith systems data cup.

They were saying in the papers that some groups were protesting his nomination because of his sexist and homophobic comments, but if you ask me he's an inspiration.

Why should his political and social views discredit his outstanding achievements this year? I think its bull**** too.

Combined odds of all of Murray's singles matches in the Davis Cup?

Spoiler:
1.82
12-20-2015 , 07:43 PM
It's voted for by the public, and the public obviously don't think a sexist homophobe should win, no matter what his achievements were.

As for Murray, he pretty much single handedly won a trophy for Great Britain that we hadn't even come close to winning for God knows how many years.

Which makes the team award all the more baffling.

we have an f1 champ and a world hw champ and neither make the top 3, very odd
12-20-2015 , 07:55 PM
Murray winning 11 matches (8 singles and 3 doubles) was at 1.82?

If there was a bet available for Pellegrini to be Liverpool manager on Aug 1, I'd snap it up. You'd think Plop would give Klopp at least a summer window to get his players in, but I'm not sure they will allow it after they finish 13th.
I'll take Klopp's side. Odds? How much?

People still watch SPOTY ?

Andy Murray personality. Three words I would never have combined.
12-20-2015 , 08:15 PM
^ No
People just like to show indignation that Fury is being persecuted by the PC bros, when really Murray is also deserving of the title, and isn't such a dick.

If it was done on having a 'personality', Fury should easily win. Unfortunately for him, it means having a good one.

imagine not having the self-awareness to realise how dull a comment this is

and imagine thinking personality is meant in the 'Alan Carr' sense of the word

Superb.

I feel like all the 'big' teams bar Arse are overestimating their attacking edge and playing a style they can't carry out with mediocre players. Start playing 4-4-2's/4-1-4-1`s, dropping to 4-6-0 in defence. More focus on set plays, deeper defensive lines, more winning second and third balls, counter with pace. Pretty much what Mourinho did last season. It's really hard to play a possession game on small, muddy pitches without elite fullbacks like Alves, Alba/Alaba. Resist the temptation to push too many players forward. Fans and overrated primadonna players wouldn't stand for it, of course, which is part of the reason the big teams are horrible.

Yeah, Murray is deserving of the title, just like every other nominee then, right?

A lot of teams seem to be playing in the naive way we were rightly criticized for in recent years
