Well yeah, that's why we laughed when they said it.

But we're seeing it now, so maybe it's time to start believing. Ranieri won't be cheap and they did spend in the summer.

They probably spent as much as we did.

There are loads of clubs that have had owners rock up with big words about Champions League in five years or whatever (we have had two of them ourselves). It just so happens that this lot might be the exception to the rule as they are the 50/1 shot that had enough of a combination of skill and luck to do it.

Leicester already have a comfortable 9pt lead over 5th place United. They can even afford a wee stumble and still be in good shape. It's not like the teams behind them look like putting a run together either which is why they will get a CL place imo

maybe some TSO + january warchest future equity, otherwise it's hard to believe mun are still favourites for to finish ahead of Leicester

You guys are out of your minds suggesting that Leicester bring in a bunch of players in January. Why would they risk potentially upsetting the team chemistry they have to slightly increase their their title/top 4 equity. After the next couple of weeks they will only have 1 game per week. Bar any big injuries, they'll be able to play their best 11 every week without worry of players tiring too much.

do you get a 10 pt bonus at the end of the season for best team chemistry or something

People are going a bit crazy wrt United and Leicester. 9 points isn't that much. United are obviously aids at the moment but they've got tons of quality. Watch Mahrez do an ACL next week and then see how robust Leicester are.

mun haven't even ran bad this season to be where they are. Their attack is at best mid table quality, so unless they open the warchest it's hard to imagine they can improve very much. Only hope is to grind out a lot of 1-0 wins and hope Leicester stop running super hot.

That's not really true though. They've run awfully with injury. Also, I'm not convinced that Martial + Rooney with Memphis, Mata etc is a mid table attack. They're just not playing very well at the moment.
