If I'm Arsenal I probably keep Wenger before giving Pep twice the cash

Hey DuckSauce any thoughts on my $10k FPL offer for next season or some kind of bet for the 2nd half of this season?

Wenger won't go and he is enjoying Fergie status so no way Arsenal would get rid

It does make sense for City to let Pellegrini go at the end of this season if they bring in Guardiola. I've never ever wanted Pellegrini sacked, one of the rare times I actually wanted a City manager to be sacked it was the dreadful (for us) Mark Hughes.

Pellegrini is coming towards the end of his cycle with us, the guys up top have often said the managers come and go in 3-5 year cycles, maybe the odd exception you can get 2 cycles out of them. Pellegrini has been great for us, I love his attitude of rarely blaming refs or external circumstances. He loves attacking football, something we don't get enough credit for, actually trying to win trophys in style. You'd have never guessed from the media we actually outscored Liverpool in the famous SAS season.

Hopefully he can go out on a real high unlike Mancini who left on a real sour note but is still loved by all City fans.

Naw there's way to much variance in season long for that kinda amount. Will do hu matches on dk if you have access or possibly on mondogoal if you are in the UK instead till dk opens up there.

Ok mate i've not got started on Mondogoal yet, don't have the time to get into DFS but I think once drafkings opens I might start to make some moves. It'll become an addiction so I need to prepare for that.

Why on earth would any big shot league team want to have the Jogibear? When has he last worked with a team that requires matches every weekend throughout the year on an advanced level?

it's not like he's Jurgen Klinsmann

If it's between Mourinho or Giggs I'm taking Mourinho.

But TSO was the problem as something must have happened between him and the players.

You don't go from easily winning the league and three months later with the same team and manager getting beaten every other week, unless there is a major problem.

he was legitimately the best player on the pitch at home against Real Madrid at the end of last season. there's some talent there and if he ever passed the ball he might be alright.

Without wishing to sound like a conspiracy theorist, I get the impression Jose Mourinho wanted the sack this season. £40,000,000 pay off ladies and gentlemen. If you stood to gain the equivalent of four 'one drop' first prize cashes for getting your jotters, who wouldn't act like Mourinho? Hell, I'd loot the communal teabags and leave the photocopier out of paper on purpose. Thug life.

Now Mr Mourinho can take a 6 month sabbatical in the sun and pick up another 8 figure job in the summer.

PS Guardiola is the most overrated coach on the planet. He's a glorified bum hunter. Let's face it, you could put John Carver in charge at Bayern Munich and they'd still coast to the Bundesliga title.
12-17-2015 , 04:04 PM
If Mourinho picks up another job in six months, no way that he gets the full forty million. That's probably the amount still left on his contract, if he signs a contract elsewhere, Chelsea are off the hook for his wages
12-17-2015 , 04:08 PM
Apparently the Chelsea model is to put the manager on gardening leave, ie; continue to pay him his weekley/monthy wage and once they find another job then the payments stop. I imagine if this is true then this is in the original contract they sign which allows Chelsea to escape a full pay off.
12-17-2015 , 04:09 PM
^^do you think that's uncommon among other clubs?
12-17-2015 , 04:10 PM
its reported at 10m immediately and then gardening leave in 12 months if he hasnt found a new job. ie if he sits on his arse until the chelsea contract runs out then he'll get the full 40m.
12-17-2015 , 04:17 PM
psg seems the only £ destination for him and idk if blanc is in any sort of jeopardy over there. mun and barca = forget it, city have pep, buyern have carlo, RM i dunno but doubt it given history. who's left?

very much doubt he takes on any job where he cant spend mountains so maybe he'll sit a couple years out until one of the aforementioned clubs runs bad
12-17-2015 , 04:19 PM
England job after Roy?
12-17-2015 , 04:20 PM
oh yea i remembered about the england job about 2 seconds before u poasted

of course. ****. bollocks.
