disturbing game for spurs

one of the reasons we're better this year is dier/alli/dembele/toby/others are not shrinking violets, but today we got totally pushed around

another reason we're better is that when games get intense and other teams start playing downhill against us we finally have enough quality through the mf to downshift the game and chill and then recycle it into legit threatening buildup--imo this is the real weakness of mason/chadli/maybe bentaleb. But today everybody spazzed out

I really like Son's game and think in 2nd half of season he's going to be a total lynchpin. But cmon son shake off the rust and don't be shy

the easiest way to disrupt spurs is always pressure the FBs and Dier in the buildup, eventually they start to fray and cough it up in a bad spot, which then becomes contagious and scary for ten minutes. I think all the right people are starting back there, it's just a weakness. Vert remains one of my favorites but Toby's unquestionably defensive MVP this year, that was a great signing.

draw was more or less fair but moral victory and credit to wba. And lol mcclean--lucky to not get sent off and bursts blood vessels in his face and neck complaining that it's even a foul, lol you. Also feel like spurs dodged a bullet with saido but shrug.

this is the first time ever that I've watched us vs mancu where I was supremely confident the entire 90 minutes. Never in doubt.

Lets just say the manu friend I was watching with is not happy at all with the way they play. Not going to say he'd rather not win a title then to win it like this, but it's pretty close haha.

We should open the cheque book, again, spend a further £250m on players who'll be played out of position and told to pass it square and backwards. If they don't? Drop them and sell them on at huge losses.
I think you guys are just too pissed off, a lot of hyperbole going on. Lingard and whoever it is that plays the left side get plenty of chances to take men on, they just aren't making the grade at the moment. Memphis created off the dribble today and Martial has been able to do this consistently, why shouldn't Bale?

And the Kingweed one is just like, what? Nobody is saying 250m, which is a lol number to throw around anyway. All we need is somebody who can create stuff on the wings. Mahrez looks like he would be a good start.
You have absolutely know way of knowing whether or not players will be benched for not passing square or that they will be played out of position (when has this ever happened by the way? And who is playing out of position except Mata maybe?).
I mean you are obviously referring to just Di maria, but the fact is that he just wasn't very good for us. That can be down to anything, he never seemed to want to be at Utd, house got robbed etc etc. And to my knowledge he was not played out of position at all, he had spent like the whole of the previous season in midfield no? If you want to blame the manager for Di Maria being **** while he was with us then I don't know, OK I guess.

I guess the best option will be to just mail it in and cry until the second coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah Alex Ferguson comes back so we can get these glory days back on the road.

lol Mahrez had a good game today, he should play for united

Bastian and Memphis were cheaper than that, Martial considerably more expensive. Probably pushes it to 260m+.

Ah well, 2nd highest in Europe then.

Only because City decided to spend £100m on two players.

Solid defence though. If you can buy somebody that puts the ball in the back of the net in January you can easily win the title.

There is frequently space for the wide players to do something with.

It's only solid because the team keep the ball so well and don't do anything with it, highest passes, most possession in the league yet C.P and Norwich have more chances than us.

We must be watching different games then, I frequently see our FB's overlapping near the endline and being easily closed off by 2-3 defenders. Very rarely do we get a player running in behind out wide with space in front of him, simply because our zombie football makes it so easy for teams to set their defense and close off space.

Boruc with possibly the game of his life

Players that must have committed an act of highly embarrassing sexual deviance with the Physio.

Fabregas
Costa
Ivanovich.

Players who committed either the above and have dealt with it, or there were no actual goats involved.

Hazard
Matic

Players who have done all of the above and more.

Terry.

As there are so many square and backwards passes, we simply do not create enough chances. You could have Aguero playing upfront in this team with these instructions and system in play you won't score goals.

You'd actually be expected to score almost half as many as he currently does with City.
