What does that have to do with Spurs?
11-29-2015 , 09:39 AM
understandable a bolton fan doesnt know the definition of a topside

This 2nd half has mourinaids written all over it
11-29-2015 , 09:45 AM

11-29-2015 , 09:45 AM
this will teach me not to watch matches between mid-table and relegation-battling outfits
11-29-2015 , 09:46 AM
Swansea are going to get Klopped bad today.

Costa is a child
11-29-2015 , 09:52 AM
definitely going to blame this on the early kickoff despite having absolutely zero knowledge in that area

might also bring the referee into the narrative despite the fact that I'm weirded out by anyone who can actually tell them apart

Just sack Mourinho already.

This is worse than watching United.

This can't be right. There are very advanced models in place to make sure this sort of thing doesn't happen

That's a good result for our top 4 chances.

why do they schedule in such a way that we get to watch wba but miss one of the liverpool/arsenal game

Because Liverpool's game is only on today because they are in the UEFA Cup.

That was ****e for everyone else. Happy not to lose. Top 4 still there to take
11-29-2015 , 10:22 AM

Every team needs to be shown on tv in the uk, roughly an equal amount of times. Until about March/April where title run in games will get priority.

So Arsenal v Norwich will be today to chalk one up for Norwich.

And what hoopie said, otherwise plop game would be on at 3pm on a Saturday.

my point is make one of liverpool or arenal play the 2pm game and then let wba game overlap with the 4pm game so that we can watch both liverpool and arsenal

Ok. is that terms of the contract? does being shown on an alternative channel (e.g. sky 2) not count ?

You can't. The tv rights in the uk only allow 154 games to be shown on tv.

They'll look at it and say, well will the uk rather watch Plop v Swans or Plop v city/spurs etc for one of their games?

The tv time slots for a Sunday are 12-2-4

Jesus, it's not that hard. West Ham vs West Brom and Arsenal vs Liverpool were selected as the televised games. Liverpool's game was scheduled to be at 3 p.m. yesterday, so instead of crying over it overlapping with Arsenal, you'd be crying over it overlapping with something else.

The TV companies have quotas to fulfil regarding showing the unpopular sides. They do this by sometimes televising games between a couple of also-rans, like they are doing today.
11-29-2015 , 10:30 AM
the teams in this game had a combined total of points the same as Spurs-Chelsea before the weekend started

(obviously gonna have more if 1 side takes the 3 points today)

No doubt he'd be crying about it over lapping with City.

This is the problem with tblitw, too many teams to watch
