Completely agree with Coutinho.

Firmino looked pretty tired against Bordeaux and he really didn't play very well. It could also be a case of Klopp saving him for the League Cup game against Southampton on Wednesday.

Lallana has looked a lot better since Klopp arrived. Wish he'd lose the habbit he has of trying to turn 360° whenever he gets the ball.

I was fearing Origi would be back in the team with Benteke and Firmino playing in Europa League.

Getting so pissed off with Sturridge being injured, makes me laugh though to think back a few years when he was in the audience watching a UFC event in Manchester. The BTSports girl went over to interview him and he said something like if he wasn't a football player he would have loved to be a MMA fighter.

well, I'm not a MMA follower, but being a MMA fighter would be what .. playing 3-4 times a year? sounds ideal for Sturridge

De Gea is driving me to drink with the amount of undeserved points he is giving United.

ok, so after today's matches the reddit /r/soccer sub had the following 5 top post:
1- Vardi's record news
2- Vardi's goal
3- Suarez's goal
4- Messi's goal
5- Neymar's.

I follow La Liga basically because of Neymar, Messi and Suarez. it's been like this since I was a teen, only before I watched Ronaldinho and the fat Ronaldo before him. so basically I watched all the big brazilian names playing there. I just like watching great players doing great things.
now id like to know why the premier league is so popular among foreigners. it sounds so dull to me. looking from the outside it just looks like lots of teams that used to be good facing each other. That's what I think. now I'd like to know what I should expect from it and which teams I should watch so I can maybe get into it and change that perception. vardi's record is the first thing that actually stood out.

3-4 matches would be a good over/under on when his MMA career would be ended permanently.

talking of dull, looks like my snooker mate has joe perry SUPERFURIOUS

Quote:
Joe Perry reacted with fury at his shock exit from the UK Championships yesterday (November 28).

Perry, the world number 10, was beaten 6-3 in the second round by world number 56 Robbie Williams in York, but he took careful aim at his slow-playing, negative opponent after the match.

Perry told www.worldsnooker.com: “It was honestly the most bored I’ve been in a snooker match. “I don’t want to be too disrespectful, but what do you get out of playing like that? I was bored after two frames. It’s a massive event and I know he’s trying hard and good luck to him.

“I remember somebody once said watching a game of snooker was like pulling teeth, but this was worse. The style and speed of play was a joke. It’s something the game needs to address if we’re going to get new fans and sponsors.

“It’s not about having a shot clock. Players need to change their mentality. You need to go out and try and win rather than try not to lose. I think it’s put my daughter off for life though because she was probably fast asleep up there watching that.

“It’s just not the way to play snooker. At my time in my career it’s about enjoying snooker and if I have to play like that every time I come out then it won’t be long before I call it a day. I love the game but that’s not fun – it’s just hard work.”

Love the way you describe it

Pretty much though.

People watch sport for entertainment, excitement etc

You want to be on the edge of your seat!

If you're bored every single time you watch it, you simply aren't going to continue to watch it.

Knowing the outcome before a game/match w/e kicks off makes it dull. Going into it not knowing what result to expect adds to it!

You said yourself you only watched it (la liga) because of the big named Brazilian and now because of that trio. You don't actually watch of follow la liga either...

Every single sporting event in the world is the same. If it's good, unpredictable and gripping you're going to get the audience. Which in turn brings in money which increase the over all quality.

It's why boring **** like women's sport isn't on nearly as much.

Lloris (C), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Mason; Dembele, Eriksen, Son; Kane

Begovic; Ivanovic (c), Zouma, Cahill, Azpilicueta; Fabregas, Matic; Willian, Oscar, Pedro; Hazard.

ill be disappointed if we dont put at least 3 past these bums

The only reason I glory-hunted a team in the Premier League way back when was because it was in English. Not half as much fun following a league where you can't understand the subplots and themes.

It's not the best league in the world and never has been.
11-29-2015 , 07:06 AM
You are mistaken glory hunter.

also hadn't noticed before but leicester had a really nice transfer window and have reasonable depth because of that now
brought in some real quality in attack with okazaki, got kante/inler for CM and fuchs for free, dyer on loan

Win today and we are legit title challengers given the games we've already played.
