fact is its close to impossible to fail to deliver winning football over the long run with unlimited bux, the historical record is very clear on this, and the only thing jose guarantees on top of that is that it'll be done in the most boring possible fashion.
sorry about the pool mixup
Teams that spend many £££ assembling a squad tend not to be thrifty when it comes to appointing a manager. You can't just look at the historical record of clubs with £££ having success and conclude that's all that matters, because those same clubs tend to have had highly regarded managers too.
He's got a great record at every club he's managed. Unparalleled, even. But then he's spent more at different clubs than any other manager has too, so comparisons are difficult. I don't believe just any old manager could go and achieve that but it's going to be difficult to prove obv.
I am aware of the turgid football. I think it wins him more games that he might otherwise have lost, rather than the other way round. Again, tough to prove either way, but I believe it so I'm sticking to my talented **** evaluation.
