I have a little over 200k Pokerstars points (FPPS?) but am on the lowest rung of the VIP ladder and won't have time to play this year. What is my best way of converting these points to cash in light of the recent VIP changes (which I haven't read up on). Am I best off waiting until next year when I'll probably get Supernova equivalent status?

hmm, if you can't play then i'm not sure, would have suggested playing a bunch of hyper sats. definitely use them this year, they'll devalue 25% if you don't. can't suggest what to use them on (think they have gift cards but don't know whether they have decent value?), i've not been able to connect to stars' site for ages and don't have the client on this pc anymore

yeah, if you're not supernova right now you're not going to be able to retain the value of your fpps without playing them through and converting to T$, which by the sounds of it isn't an option. Stars are converting all unused FPPs to StarsCoins on Jan 1st, and your 200k fpps (value roughly $3200) will become 240k Starscoins (value exactly $2400). Supernovas are able to convert their FPPs to cash right now at the 0.016 rate, but in the new year all VIPs will get the same (lower) value of 0.010.

The good news is that in the new year you'll be able to convert them directly to cash whatever your VIP status, without the need to grind hyper satelites or earn a certain amount of points.

yeah, I mean with that many points it's probably worth buying some Step 4 tickets at 13,500fpps as they can be used to enter the Million or any $215 WCOOP games or whatever, don't see how that could do any harm.
