What I don't get is why so much money is riding on fantasy premier league. IIRC it's **** (unless they changed the format), a bit random and low stakes should therefore apply.

Did you escrow the bet with Bandit? If you did just tell me who with and if you didn't just say you didn't. Or just get someone known to vouch for you! I can see why me holding lots atm doesn't actually make you feel more secure (good point), hopefully you can see why you not caring about an escrow doesn't make me feel more secure. If you don't want to bother then fine but I would very much like to bet. Can make it 2k if you want...

Like it a lot, although they are really ambitious with the scoring model, which is fine, but there are a couple of things I would change

When did you last play? The format changes slightly each year with new features/rules being added but it's by and large the same game. What was random about it? The scoring's pretty consistent.

Doesn't appear that escrowing is taking any hassle out of the bet at all.

my brother and I pioneered our own version of subbuteo using Star Wars figures on a kids' size pool table (cue ball was the ball obv). We ran a 5-a-side league, controlling a team each and playing like 20 matches a night pretty much every night for two years, and recorded the scores on a piece of A4 paper. Admiral Akbar had a 40-goal season at one point. We even did post-match analysis with He-Man figures in the studio.

Their arms were so flimsy, and the goallies always got bent out of shape! Have loads of happy memories of that game, including picking up some italia 90 teams from a shop in Italy that you couldn't get over here, also the packs of the Italia 90 footballs with Ciao the mascot on them!
