Re: English Football 2015-16

Get a draw at Arse and beat two teams in the relegation zone and suddenly you're king of the world. Five PL wins, three of them against the bottom three. The win vs City was very good obv, but other than that meh.

In their defence, I can't recall a plop fan being dumb enough to write NOMNOMNOM at the end of a post.

Speaking of dumb, there is a rumour that Kieron Dyer is going on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. He will be the first person to tweak a hamstring after eating an ostrich bollock.

most of those big chances come from aerial crosses though so it doesn't count

hey, a heads up for those of you who like or believe in stats instead of strictly football men and gumption:

objectivefooty on twitter is a great follow. i only just realized that he has less than 2k followers. his visualizations are like sherwood's tottenham win rate.

Re: English Football 2015-16

ah also another thing I forgot to mention
the 2nd big mistake by wenger, in addition to the lack of rotation/early subs vs bayern, was mertesacker instead of gabriel.
just makes no sense vs tottenham, would have never conceded that 0-1 with the more mobile CB partnership.

Re: English Football 2015-16

so our football is that bad at the moment that we could only get 9000-9500 home fans (depending on which report you read re: away attendance) in for our fa cup game this weekend. this despite having 12500+ season ticket holders, for whom the game was free, and it only being a tenner otherwise

I got spurs 4th at end of season

Will there be any serious damage done when Chelsea lose out on CL? I'm thinking probably not, which kind of takes the fun out of it..

So we have spudsboom, arseboom, klopplopboom and apparantly a little bit of Utdboom as well, all at the same time. This better lead to some real epic meltdowns.

Klopp disappointed to see home fans sulking and walking out with 10 mins to go rather than staying to support their team as they chase an equaliser

Also what about Klopp saying he felt alone when he saw fans leaving the ground early. Keep it lit Jurgen!

Klopp wants out. He was clearly moved by the show of support from chelsea fans to their struggling manager.
