1. And obv this pattern will just continue indefinitely in your mind.
2. Anfield is being redeveloped to 58,000 capacity so 'far worse' is a pretty big exaggeration

Yes, but were talking about Spurs V Plop. And who knows, once the stadium is built we might get bought out by some billionaire Arabs.
Liverpool v Spurs season bet?? We can lock in a few hundred $ per season over the next 5 seasons if you want?

Look at the rest of their side. They have also had a pretty fantastic schedule so far.

Sure, but they play well in just about every game. They have a clear gameplan in every game. When Arsenal beat them 5-2 I was impressed how they moved Vardy around and got him 1v1 with Mertesacker in the first half. Ranieri has done a great job.

Yeah I made the distinction between recent transfer histories, are you saying you don't think 150m additional war chest is an advantage most of the time? Do wages not count or something?

Who cares about the stadium, Pool's commercial revenue is more than double Spurs and it's a much bigger piece.

Also, your new stadium will have 61k capacity v a 59k redeveloped Anfield. Not exactly an enormous advantage.

Yeah lock in a bet when Plop are going to be spewing yet more money trying to secure 4th while Spurs are keeping a tight reign on finances till their stadium is built. GL with that.

WRT to 59k v 61k, also factor in Spurs are going to be charging ~50% more than plop for tickets, have a hotel + apartments, NFL, skywalk and 8 a pint.

So will Spurs be better than Liverpool or not?

I really don't see how the answer to the question "Will Spurs be better than Liverpool?" is clear cut to anyone

Re: English Football 2015-16

It's clear cut to Plop fans with their RAWK-style hot takes.

Once both new stadiums are in place, I don't see either club opening a significant advantage over the other, but over the long term considering their additional revenue I reckon Spurs have a better equity as Plop's commercial advantage is only based on past success, and City and Chelsea are gobbling up all those GHW's moving forward.

Liverpool hasn't won anything significant for a decade and still get double of Spurs for shirt sponsors.
I mean, I don't think Liverpool has been great for quite a while, but I don't see how Liverpool's commercial success can be questioned or is merely "past success" type deals.

at this point in time Plop~Spurs in most aspects probably. What happens going forward is going to depend upon finances, scouting and luck but we're probably never going to end at some long-run equilibrium where one is better than the other.

English Football 2015-16

Well it is past success but its not really fading afaik, seems like ghw are slow to change once they've hopped on (or their fathers did).

Barring some kind of worldwide hipster resurgence I don't think Spurs are gonna catch up in the foreseeable future (in commercial revenue), but I don't have a Masters in RAWkology

Of course we don't know Pool will be better than Spurs over the next 10 years or so. However, once you weigh up the argument it becomes quite clear that they likely will be. And if anybody disagrees I'm more than happy to put money down.

Actually **** that I just looked on Facebook. Liverpool have 26m likes compared to Spurs' 7m. Objective proof if ever it were needed.

Anfield is being redeveloped and will hold close to 60k when finished. How big is Spurs new stadium going to be?
