i've never seen lb so unwilling to the play the ball to the 1st option as rose

eriksen takes up passing lane and was ignored like 5x in the 1st half in favour of running into blind alleys and hopeful punts into the box

At least with the new guy in there will be no more nonsense about Gabby being a Villa man. He is absolute arse and has been for years. Just dreadful in every single aspect of the game.

Plus points though to Dele Alli. That kid looks really good.

Dier and Alli so good as a 2.

Kinda like what I was expecting from Sandro and Paulinho.

Dembele also really useful dropping back and making a 3 if necessary.

They've been horrible tonight but we've stayed up with a team that's as bad as this previously. They're just going to suffer because the standard of a lot of the also rans is quite a bit higher than it used to be.

Also, it's really not that cold tonight. If any of the Villa lads wearing gloves are Brits they should probably have their hands cut off as punishment.

i kind of like villa's parts

they have the young mids to play as a knock-off spurs with a higher line and gestede as target man, the defense is fast enough tho idk about the gk being able to sweep any good

have to fk the lazy useless grealish off obviously and play someone prepared to move off the ball and do some consistent non-frustration related pressing
