swansea was very cautious and didn't give us much space for counter-attacks. alexis also had a fairly poor came for his standard and campbell just isn't good enough for arsenal.

özil is so so good though and our fullbacks are head and shoulders above what all the other teams are trotting out so grinding out wins much easier nowadays.
fully understand why merte got the nod today(long-balls/crosses to gomis a key weapon for swansea) but gabriel clearly should be our 2nd starter going forward.

Yep. I occasionally see people complaining that the UK has four international teams and I think what a dumb thing to be mad about, if the UK had always had a unified team it would probably have achieved more than a rigged world cup and a plethora of qualification failures.

Everton & Southampton seem like such an obvious double today. Obv won't happen so don't do it.

LOLvGuru thinks he has identified our problem and somehow came to the conclusion that it's our finishing and not chance creation that is the problem. Sigh.

He does have a point, we are no longer taking 100% of our chances/shot on target to win games 1-0 or 2-1

Keane, Giggs and McClair for starters......

McGrath, Brady, Best and Jennings.

Bale, Hughes, Rush and Rambo.

King Kenny, Strachan, Hansen and Nicol.
lol you piss off.

JoeDiego said during the premier league era more than half the players above didn't even play in the PL or had one or two seasons during the first couple of seasons when the PL was lol quality wise.

How many Irish, Scottish and Welsh play for any of the big clubs now? Ramsey, Bale and..?

Since the premier league started, I would estimate less than a dozen non English players would have started in an UK XI.

And variance regarding international cup competitions.

Not my fault you're a 12 year old with no memory of some fantastic players.

PL is still lol quality wise considering the billions that have been spent on it, all kick n rush bar the very best clubs.

How about you assess the hundreds upon hundreds of Englishmen that have played PL football? By my reckoning there wouldn't be much more than 2/3 dozen great players in their own league, rest is just filler.

To go a step further, how many English players make a combined Euro team since 92? Scholes alone?

And if your having Bale down as having played for one the top clubs in Spurs then I get all the Irish, Scottish and Welsh at clubs like Villa and Everton.

Deulofeu might be the worst player in the league, worse than Rooney even.

Fewest chances created in the Premier League this season:

Sunderland (74)
Aston Villa (80)
Man United (81)

Marty have you already started drinking today?

JoeDiego said during PL era, you started being the aggressive homer that is associated with your internet persona and due to your lack of reading comprehension. I stated facts, you started Martying and then started moving the goal posts.

Bale currently plays for Real Madrid I.e one of the big clubs. Ramsey plays for Arsenal I.e one of the big clubs. Time for you to start thinking before you post.
