I can see why people don't like Lallana, but I think Emre Can is playing quite alright. Was a very poor challenge by him today near the corner flag, though.

So lallana passes a lot and ineffectively played in a very advanced attacking position today? Is that what the lol chart is meant to show?

Yep, he'd be my player of the season so far. Has to have a top 5 first touch in world football.

It really is a sorry state of affairs when Tony P and Jose's bus are more attacking and entertaining than LvG.

Emerson Thome may have had some longevity but you can't stick him ahead of Oscar, Juninho or Coutinho.

Scotland, Ireland and Wales?

There's been about 50 Aussies in the Premier League and the top five would be something like Schwarzer, Cahill, Kewell, Viduka and Neill. The list of Italians also looks pretty atrocious

Lol piss off.

Some the very best players ever to play in English football have been Irish, Scottish and Welsh. There was once a time no team could win without having teams full of those local foreigners.

Keane, Giggs and McClair for starters......

McGrath, Brady, Best and Jennings.

Bale, Hughes, Rush and Rambo.

King Kenny, Strachan, Hansen and Nicol.
