BR isn't signing sort by goal transfers anymore. Spurs can have him. Vardy and Kane should be treble winners and give England a WC based on the hype

You fired the transfer committee as well?

I think the big problem is our squad make-up is ****, rather than the playing style per se. It's sterile because we don't have any dangerous attacking players. Now, that could be down to LvG, I really have no idea how the inner workings of the club go but I think the main reason we are so toothless is because we still have a **** team but have papered over the leaks at least.

If we're really honest with ourselves, we really do have a **** squad still. Mata is quality but he is very far from being a wide man. Rooney royally sucks, the midfielders are solid enough but really kind of meh going forward, our fullbacks sans Shaw can't really attack and Memphis is dumb. Martial, De Gea and recently Smalling really the only players to be excited about.

A bunch of arguments can be made, I reject completely that LvG is a bad coach or manager but the fact that we haven't addressed such bare necessities like having a single wide player that can be relied on for solid offense is pretty damning. Rooney also has to be sent to the glue factory.

My personal hypothesis is that we would be murdering everything (playing this style) if we had pace/skill on both wings with martial up top and being able to put mata in the hole.

Lol if you think klopp signed knowing he has to take a backseat to Ian Ayre and his brilliant track record when signing players

It's taken 11 years, but I can finally say with some confidence that Mourinho is a fraud.

plop boom back in full swing after beating a bottom half team
10-31-2015 , 02:09 PM
Pool boom posts are clearly full of fear, written with trembling fingers. Undefeated under Klopp, only lost 1 the toughest away start in history. It's very much on.

Today was quite a good day. Wish city had drawn. Would have won ever more $ in fantasy and also are would have gone ahead of them.

I was worried for a bit that Chelsea may have turned a corner as they looked good defensively in the first half.... Butnahhhhh 10:1 not top 4 lolllll highway robbery. Relegation battle on!

You should try getting your fingers on that guy from PSG.

Jose get sacked yet?
10-31-2015 , 03:18 PM
I stand by most of those comments. Coutinho is just a brilliant match winner and had 2 incredible goals today. I can't stand lallana and can see klopp fading him out eventually.

I have all the faith in the world in klopp and I'm excited going forward. We just need much much better players in the side so the likes of Adam lallana and Emre can aren't starting each week
10-31-2015 , 03:19 PM
Jose Mourinho's position as Chelsea manager is not under immediate threat, Sky Sports News HQ understands

Coutinho has got learn some consistency, too often he goes missing even if technically he's usually on point.

Lallana's a lot better than you're making out, again technically on point, needs end product though admittedly.
10-31-2015 , 03:58 PM
Agree on coutinho. He's not supposed to be our match winner and goal scorer and is infinitely better when he has a pacey striker in the side. He was poor for like 4-5 games in a row though. No doubt about that.

Lallana is extremely slow. Extremely weak. Horrible in the box. Can't finish. Takes a million touches. What is he good at?

The second goal where lallana completely whiffs like the putz he is in finishing situations and coutinho calm collects and buries a brilliant goal is the perfect contrast
10-31-2015 , 03:59 PM
Özil seems to have settled completely. Simply fantastic this season. Hope he keeps this going

You may not like him, or rate him, but he's been turned into a very important player in Klopp's system.
