Why do you think they are pretty terrible?

Also curious about this one, I mean, no ones gonna argue that their football discussion is at a high level but both of them are very likeable and have great chemistry

Football ramble much better tho

I just don't find them funny at all and mostly annoying. Don't really talk about anything of substance and there's a lot of really good podcasts out there

They are fun and entertaining. Obv never watching them to scratch the technical football discussion part of my brain though .

I mean some of us think, at times, we have it bad but then we watch Leeds and realise it's not as bad as it could be.

A few years ago when Leeds appointed Neil Warnock as manager, I thought he was a good fit. He's a **** and he hates Sheffield Wednesday as a bonus. Those are traits that are still useful for a Leeds manager and Steve Evans has both in spades. What he also has that will come in handy is previous experience in fiddling the tax authorities.

Clearly he is the man most suitable for the Leeds job, so I expect them to push on now.

An hour before you wrote that, we had just lost 2-0 at home to a team that hadn't won away in 7 months.
You expect us to push on?

Brent as interim after Jose gets canned would be the icing on the cake

Metro suggesting that it could be AVB. They're legitimately running with that.

So what are the best football podcasts?

Is Poch an option? Not even listed on odds checker, but would seem a viable candidate.

John Terry at 14-1 yes please

Of course I don't. My post was an attempt at satire. To be clear, I don't actually think that being a **** who hates Sheffield Wednesday and has previous for scamming the tax man qualifies someone to be manager of LUFC (or any other team).

On the face of it, it looks like a terrible appointment. Steve Evans takes controversy wherever he goes but is nowhere near having the attributes to compensate for the negative attention. Leeds ought to have been trying to tempt the likes of Nigel Pearson. He'll probably think he can get another Premier League job but might have been tempted by a club of Leeds' stature if it wasn't such a circus. As it is, Cellino seems to like the cheap option in the manager's spot so Pearson was probably never even considered. If he was approached, I think Pearson is smart enough not to touch it with a barge pole.

It's lucky for Leeds that there are enough bad teams that they shouldn't go down this season even being run in this fashion (although don't discount some unforeseen points deduction, I guess).

Fair enough. Poor reading comprehension on my part.

Right now I'm not convinced there's 4 teams worse than us...

lol - Mourinho wont get sacked.

The Chelsea supporters at the Brit the other night responded to all "sacked in the morning" chants by singing their manager's name on a loop.
10-30-2015 , 06:29 AM
Is N'Zonzi a massive loss for Stoke and the reason why you have struggle thus far this season or have Stoke just been running bad?
10-30-2015 , 06:48 AM
I had the unfamiliar experience of nodding my head in agreement whilst reading a Martin Samuel article yesterday. He suggested that both Mourinho and Chelsea might benefit from TSO taking a few weeks' leave and getting himself out of the spotlight, perhaps just chill on a yacht or a beach or something and come back refreshed. Sacking such an elite performer, who's delivered phenomenal results for years, because of a short term drop in performance is something no other industry would even seriously consider.

All the teams below you in the table deserve to be where they are. Bolton are really bad in particular and I don't see any of last seasons promoted L1 teams or Rotherham being good enough for mid-table safety.

I put Forest, Blackburn and Huddersfield at the same level as Leeds too. None of you are likely to go down but it wouldn't be a shock either.

We'll be in better shape once Lennon gets the Chelsea job, only 200/1 on PaddyPower!

What if said elite performer brings constant embarrassment to the company with his comments/actions and some of his actions even result in legal ramifications? This is highly hypothetical obviously
