I'm a bit puzzled who will hire him if Chelsea fire him. PSG? There's no club for him to manage in Spain, Bayern won't have him because of above, so what's left? He can go back to Italy and become increasingly insignificant perhaps.
Think you're reading into this meltdown too much. He'd get a job at international level no bother. Arsenal, Man City/United and Plop are the only clubs in England he realistically wouldn't get a job at for one reason or another. Barca and Real Madrid in Spain.

Anyone/basically has his pick in Italy (regardless of the media), France, Portugal, Netherlands and Germany.

Guy is still utterly elite and have hugely successful at every club he's been at. We're in a results business and clubs will take a chance on him.

Depends if you've had daylight savings yet. The game is at 4pm local time, so if your clocks haven't moved then it's an hour earlier than yesterday's game.

Hour later, no?

There will have been 25 hours between 4pm local time yesterday and 4pm local time today.

I'm not doubting there's plenty of clubs that would want him, I'm wondering if there's many clubs that he would also want. I don't think he'd be very interested in managing a club that doesn't have a shot at the CL. And of the ones that do there aren't many left that would hire him.

It kicks off same time as the Liverpool / Southampton game

The interesting part will be January if he is still there. Does Roman give him a blank cheque to try and get some players in?

No need, they have crushed the transfer market so there isn't much point.

Imagine Langer was still around during this Chelsea meltdown! Think of the carnage!

Spurs and Plop would both definitely take Mourinho if they had a vacancy and he was available.

Maybe a few of the 178 players they have out on loan could actually make some sort of positive impact on their squad?

Hopefully they keep bringing John Obi Mikel and lolcao off the bench as impact subs instead of any one of their highly-regarded youth prospects.

Agree with this, but Pool seem to be set for a while and both clubs fall outside of the potential CL winners category.

I don't think the broad Liverpool fan base would ever want Mourinho as manager. Obviously we have Klopp now so it's a non factor but there's a lot of history and is probably a non starter.

i dont think mou can go to pool or spuds, his reputation wont be able to withstand repeated 5th place finishes and he'll be done earning the big bux.

psg probably, or maybe he'll whore himself out to some arabs.

or maybe the idiots at the fa will give him £18m a year and he'll decide that going from universally admired cl binking super genius to washed up idiot (also known as the capello roadmap) is worth it.
10-25-2015 , 07:36 AM
What I really want is for him to achieve repeated 5th place finishes with Chelsea.

check der markt and utd are slight faves, was kinda surprised

then i considered the fact that man city, the same man city that were in the 3rd division a few years ago and at one point played david james up front, is almost faves at old trafford despite their two best players being injured. what a world we live in

That was when the press were kissing his ass at every opportunity and he was under the impression that he was well liked in England. I think the penny may be dropping now tho.
