Not as weird as 15th place.

im guessing the horrible accident had something to do with mc1

anyway, no. theory is mostly fine but falls down on the nonsense that the 'group of fine upstanding gentlemen who properly understand joses value adding qualities or lack thereof' is somehow irrational in their hatred. btw thechef you're still not one of us.

Didnt Chelsea went on a similar horror run under Ancelotti the year after they won it?

Google gives me 11 games with only 2 wins and 4 draws.

They finished with 71 points that year

surprised how little i've heard/seen about the ayew's scoring against each other in the same game

pretty cool occurrence, especially considering jordan is crap.

Chelsea had 25 points after 10 games. 5 points clear.

Yes but after those 10 games then they went to take 10 from the next 11.

With lvknob in charge and forcing his ****ty style of football, we're are simply not going to win enough games to win the league.
I'm 95% sure the only game where Arsenal failed to have an xG of at least two was vs Chelsea with 9 men. That's pretty impressive. United regularly have games with ~1.

yup. seems like a two horse race with united having ~10-15%, city having like 50% and arsenal 35% or so.

There is a good team for United that can challenge somewhere in there, but most weeks they're getting 7 shots, 2 good ones and scoring one. Pretty hard to sustain.

Pretty great week for Arsenal. Really couldn't care less if we lose 7-0 in the Carling Cup. Our main XI has worked their asses off lately and all need a rest.
Genuinely everything has gone well for us this year beside our own injuries. Chelsea are out of it by November. Aguero and Silva are hurt. Giroud and Theo are both clicking. Ozil playing by far his best football since coming to England. On to the next one.

Hey Mou

Arsenal win and Chelsea lose. Ozil racking up the assists while Fabregas turns into a Spanish Cleverly. God is good.

#hottake Cazorla is the best CM in the EPL

Is the daylight saving time affecting the Rugby?

This Arsenal boom may peak higher than the great boom of 2013-14.
10-25-2015 , 03:24 AM
I wouldn't say putting our chances at winning the league at about ~35% is anywhere near peak boom imo. We're 2.75-3 on every site, with City being about 1.9 and United about 7.

Lol Chelsea.

Now I would never normally do this but I got geared up beyond belief with some Arse fans tonight and they were absolute gents. Legends. Fair play to them. They didn't even do the usual mock the Irishman supporting United glory hunting **** I normally have to defend myself from despite all being born max a few miles from old Highbury. A+ would drop again.

Just wanted to make a quick point, we turned Mourinho down when he was desperate to manage us, and have been laughed at for a couple of years since. There is no doubt now with hindsight that Mourinho would have done better than Moyes. But the original reason for not hiring him was that everything becomes a circus under him, and he makes whichever club he is managing look completely ridiculous. Also, there was an ambition (unfulfilled) that Moyes would achieve longevity in the role whilst everybody in football knows that Mourinho will never last longer than 4 seasons in a job.

Whilst Moyes was unsuccessful (to put it mildly), the decision not to hire Mourinho has been proven to be the correct one.

Joe - are you expecting the current incumbent to do more than four years?
10-25-2015 , 04:21 AM
LOL

If you have the ambition to maintain any sort of dignity as a football club, not hiring Mourinho is the right decision, despite his trophy winning potential.

I'm a bit puzzled who will hire him if Chelsea fire him. PSG? There's no club for him to manage in Spain, Bayern won't have him because of above, so what's left? He can go back to Italy and become increasingly insignificant perhaps.

lolololol

I don't remember much chuntering from those ****s when Hazard won the same fixture last season with a marginally offside goal.

CHELSEA - BACK WHERE WE BELONG. In mid-table.

Mourinho wants to manage the England national team so that's a possibility or he could go back to Inter.
