Another defeat in Europe for Ronny Deila. Christ he is hopeless. Utterly hopeless.

Would participate in secret santa provided gifts are of relatively little monetary value (sub $50). Not about to sit on a Fedex import tax bill because someone sent me a $500 garden gnome

So Ramsey is out for a month. Wilshere and Welbeck might be back within two. Wilshere might even play upwards of 75 minutes before he gets re-injured. Arteta got hurt yesterday so the team really picks itself tomorrow.

Think we will almost have to throw out a ton of kids vs Sheffield Wednesday in the cup.

Still running way better with injuries than expected (knock on wood) Coq, Sanchez, Cazorla/Özil would be a disaster

Of course. It's legitimately the strangest thing how it's been nearly every year as long as I can remember where Rosicky is injured for the first half of every season.

I hope that you do. Think we'll just rest 2 or 3 rather than put the reserves out and should give your kids a good game.

Pretty excited about this to be honest. Normally we lose away against low-Prem or top-Championship teams in the 3rd round or something. Last season was slightly out of the ordinary to go to Man City but a home draw to a top team hasn't happened for years. Even better that it comes when optimism is at its highest for about 20 years.

Seems likely we'll see Macey and Iwobi both start and maybe even Glen Kamara too. Could be a lot worse, but a little worried about our current depth in mf.

Surprisingly enough, Sturridge is still injured after running into Jordan Ibe in training. The guy is a great player but there has to come a time when we decide enough is enough and bring in someone who we can rely on.

I think you already did with that 30mill bloke you signed from Villa

Is Benteke as good as a fit Sturridge is?

What is a fit Sturridge?

In all seriousness, no, I don't think so, but I'm fairly sure there aren't many...and even less who would want to join Plop

We haven't seen a fit Sturridge in almost 2 years and doubt we ever will again. It's always one thing or another with him. And, according to Gerrard's new book, Sturridge won't even think about playing unless he is 100% fit.

It's hard to rate Sturridge.. I dunno... what's the sample of him playing for Liverpool without Suarez goating it up next to him like?

Well I do like to lolplop on occasion so it's an easy mistake to make.
