FA can't do anything about those comments last night surely? Be funny if UEFA throw the book at him though.

I'd love Mourinho to repeat the ref was weak and naive at each postgame interview to see if the FA bites

He just scored a (loleredivisie) hattrick this past weekend and immediately some lol article (or byline) appeared about his possible transfer to Barcelona this january because they need a 'Larsson-type'. Despite him playing ****ty in practically every other loleredivisie game and perhaps even this one (dunno as I obviously havent seen it)

I made the Le Tissier comparison and it's apt in another sense when considering international careers (or lack thereof). I think Di Canio's talent is often undermined because he never got a full cap for Italy. Rather than him not being talented enough, I think it's more a case of why risk bring in such a loose cannon in when there are so many other great players who are far less of a risk? In addition to this, it is hard to see how he would naturally fit in a team with Del Piero. Both loved to have the ball and pull the strings and if you asked one of them to play a more withdrawn role you probably lose quite a lot even if you can make it work. It's sort of like Barcelona with Messi and Neymar, except they're a club side so they can dedicate more time to making the dynamic work. They do make it work but it's not surprising to see Neymar flourish even more in Messi's absence.
Indeed, Di Canio suffered from being a complete prick and not quite as good as some pretty special Italian talent in his position. I think it was Trap that said "there would have to be a bubonic plague in Italy for me to pick Di Canio".

At West Ham when he was good he was brilliant. When he was bad he was terrible, and when we needed him most for a tricky away trip he normally had what became known as "northern flu" and was nursing his minor sniffle back in Rome. Somehow, Redknapp was considered by many to be a great man manager for letting him do what he wanted.

This seems pretty likely to be his plan tbh. Have to give the man credit, he's an expert troll.

Would enjoy a power ranking of the top 10 managers itw at this point from ~Bjørn

If Jose does lose it (the job) then I suggest we promote the Chelsea ladies coach (Emma Hayes) as our manager to 'promote women in football' after the Eva fiasco.

Do think he'll stick around but got to start winning some games that aren't villa/maccabi/Walsall/9 man Arse pretty sharpish.

can we get a list of jose 2015/16 season things, here's a start in rough chronological order but i feel im missing a ton of stuff

1) says hazard was > ronaldo during 2014/15
2) calls fsw's wife a bad cook
3) blames 3-0 loss to city on linesman which leads to pravda match report on chelsea.com
4) alienates womenfolk everywhere
5) beats wenger
6) loses to soton, blames the ref that should've given soton two penalties, gets fined 50k
7) proclaims himself best manager chelsea have ever had
8) drops hazard
9) slaps child

any contributions?

Last week, Tony Fernandes said the goal has changed from "consolidation" to "promotion," despite the squad being the worst its been in 5+ years.

Before the match Saturday, it was announced he hired Warnock to be a "special advisor" to Chris Ramsey.

Yesterday, Chris Ramsey said that bringing Warnock on was his idea, as if anyone is supposed to believe this.

Fernandes wants to win now, is a bad combination of impulsive/gullible, and the manager who was around during the club's only recent successful spell is going to be around the clubhouse every day.

I have a feeling this will not end well for all parties involved.

Mourinho's antics just an attempt to provide some entertainment. He feels guilty for aidsing up every game and wants to give the fans some off the field sugar

Called Eva a 'son of a bitch'.

Yea it's been a bad 5 months. If Roman gets twitchy he's welcome to post here until he sorts himself out and then back to the real world. Could probably just fine him instead of banning. He knows no different - a potential money maker.

12) said falcao was still good.

It's a stretch. 11 is a pretty healthy checklist 2 months into the season. Maybe he just realised that Chelsea walking the league is bad for tblitw brand so maybe tso still goat and taking one for the team.
