Smalling and Herrera both superb today. Schneiderlin was excellent and had Naismith/Barkley is his pocket all day. Not a fan of Martial out wide and Rooney up front but Memphis isn't doing enough to keep his spot atm and Young is injured. I fear once Young/Memphis are ready LVG goes back to playing Rooney as a 10 when this performance alone should be enough evidence it's Schneiderlin/Herrera/Schweinsteiger as our MF 3.

Despite the goal Rooney was **** again.

Brilliant response from Manchester United F.C today. 6 points out of our last 3 away to Southampton,Arsenal and Everton is more than acceptable. Lots of positives today too besides just the bare result. Two weeks is a long time in football.

He started really well then was terrible for a 10 minute spell before H/t where he gave away the ball 3 or 4 times but he certainly wasn't **** today.

Sterlings hat trick goal was the result of the second worst miss of the season by navas, almost beating the one from a few weeks ago

Hehaw Navas

Problems brewing at Chelsea between Mourinho and Hazard?
10-17-2015 , 08:39 PM
The problem is Chelsea still suck. Created next to nothing against one of the three worst teams in the league.
10-17-2015 , 08:54 PM
Then why no Hazard?
10-17-2015 , 10:12 PM
Couldn't watch the united game, got spoiled on the result, still worth watching?

Hector Bellerin is our best ever signing from La Masia.

Replayed this on MOTD about three times. Still doesn't compute.

our back 4 is so good now(w/ gabriel) w/ kos CBgoat, future RBgoat and monreal who really turned out an amazing signing after needing time to adjust to the premier league physically(has always been superb on the ball)
mertesacker clearly a weak link now but obv very fine as 3rd choice.

But the math changes against a club you may be battling with for a spot in the table. And given what we've seen so far this season Spurs can certainly be part of the race for 3rd and 4th.

-Spurs may be disappointed not to capitalize at home against a wounded opponent in transition, but it was a major improvement on recent results against us. Given their own injuries I don't think they should be too upset. Seem like a well-coached side that just needs to get their attackers firing more consistently.

-I was disappointed in the band-of-three attacking midfielders today. With a completely raw striker deployed on his own by necessity, we needed more invention from them.

-I love Phil, but he isn't a #10. He was at his best much deeper as one of the shuttling MFs in the diamond, where he has space to thread through-balls and rip shots. His inability to impact games when he's our best attacker gives me hope that the Spanish giants won't come for him.

-Can appears to be enjoying life under Klopp. He can be like a AI defender from a '90s video game at times (bee-lining directly at the ball with no regard for where it's going), but at his best he's a box-to-box animal. Definitely up for Klopp's demands and I think he cemented his place today.

-We have got to get better at corners. I think we've run well to score a goal and almost bag a second given the quality of the service.

-Surprised Klopp didn't make changes sooner and ended up leaving a bullet in the chamber. We seemed super gassed, and I was extremely worried that a sloppy turnover might cost us late as tired players kept surging forward only to get trapped behind the ball after a lazy pass.

-At the end of day the Klopp momentum should live to see another week, and his Anfield debut looms. His default attacking lineup today was so far from ideal that a road draw is fine, and we'll all be pumped to see what happens with a better lineup and a full week of prep.
Klopp's sub policy has always been suboptimal (imo). He tends to sub rather late and hold back too much.
Unfortunately our corners were pretty meh as well (used to be good dunno what happened) so I wouldn't expect much in that regard. Those are basically my two main criticisms I always had under Klopp.
Subs and set pieces

Gray was the difference apparently, I believe Bolton caused us a few problems, in the first half particularly. Encouraging that we're winning games while not playing well.

A certain Scotsman once said that Bolton are ten years ahead of Burnley, I'm not looking forward to our Championship relegation battle in 2025.

Well it was you who seemed to question if he has any relationship with the IRA.

8 years old is still a baby ffs.

And he likes rebel music, so what still doesn't make him IRA, far from it.

I'm certain his favourite song (a folk/rebel song about the 1920's btw) is just a troll and you've fell for it too.

Marty,

There is standing up for what you believe in and then there is chip on your shoulder, wind up merchant, attention seeking etc and even though McClean is a professional footballer that is how he behaves and comes across as to people who dgaf about anything that has happened in N.I.

Sunderland's fans were giving him **** during the match? He wasn't the first player this happened to yesterday, let alone in recent history, yet he behaved like he did. Hopefully he is banned for a few matches and fined like Neville was when he did it to plop fans.
10-18-2015 , 08:48 AM
Chip on his shoulder lol.

Fist pump 40 yards away from their fans, BAN FOR LIFE!

**** away off.

How about he is standing up for something he feels strongly about and is respected for it? Just unfortunate the thing he feels strongly about happens to be the heinous actions of the British state in his country and he isn't alone in thinking like he does.

2 hours of 'potato picking bastard" "irish bastard" "IRA ****" but he shouldn't ever celebrate his teams victory 40 yards away from a bunch of crybaby bastards or else he'll be the villain.
