The way the game started was very standard for a Brent Liverpool side: flash some good things but utterly fail to produce any end-product. And as I implied at HT, I think either of those sides gets played off the pitch by a decent continental side (Leverkusen, Napoli, Sevilla, etc.)

That said, there were glimpses to be seen if you're a close observer of this LFC team. Much more coordinated trapping for example.

Klopp has only been at it for only couple days, and he was handicapped by a really bad squad today. He spoke very early on about the first steps back for a club being to (1) solidfy the defense, and (2) become a hard team to beat. Early signs of tactical progress, while producing a draw and a clean sheet, on the road, against an in-form side, should be satisfactory for LFC supporters.

but listen i am reliably informed that he is personally responsible for close to double digit points/year to the relegation candidates he manages, which if you take pl finances vs championship into account means he adds about £50-60m of value per year to his employer. what have you done with your life?

Not having it WBA have been up for what 5 years? Maybe more to blame them just him but if I was a season ticket holder I'd carve out my eyeballs with a spoon watching them play

Chelsea game very hard on the eye, would expect more spectacle from a six pointer.

Confident we can hold, switching to egg ball.

If we lose/draw will never be able to switch again.

bit worried about the Watford game, they have a fairly nicely parked bus. Hopefully we can find an early enough goal
