Lineup for Spurs more or less picks itself IMO:

-Sturridge up top
-Coutinho, Lallana, Milner/Ibe
-Pick Two: Lucas, Allen, Milner, Can
-Back four picks itself

Not the personnel I'd choose to face Spurs, but what are you gonna do with so much athleticism on the shelf. Only alternative seems to be sticking with the 3421 for now, an idea I don't hate. It would certainly be safer, at least until Skrtel can be replaced.

I'm still confident Ibe will make it, he's just very raw and horribly short on confidence at the moment I think.

Sounds like Depay has been dropped tomorrow.

It's always going to be Brendan's fault until Klopp has at least 2 transfer windows to take care of all the ****ing awful players Rodgers brought in.

Hard to believe this Aubameyang/peak Torres crossbreed can't make the team

Not unrealistic to think that some of those "awful" purchases will get better under Klopp iyam.

PBAL also compared him with Drogba.... so unlike Plop fans to go overboard about a player.

Has anyone bothered to look at whether or not the sum of transfer dealings carried out under Rodgers' reign are any worse than comparable clubs? Notwithstanding the fact that you can't even really judge whether a transfer was a success or failure until the player leaves the club - hopefully we'll be able to categorically label Lovren a total failure in the not too distant future

BREAKING: League One side Coventry sign former England international Joe Cole on loan from Aston Villa

That's a real coup for Cov.

shows how ridiculous our board are when cov can sign cole and we can't even get a centre back in from fulham's reserves

Ignoring Manure and oil clubs, Plop have spent £200m net (not gross, net) more than Spurs, and £60m more than Arsenal in the last 5 seasons, and finished higher in the league once iirc.

I think he will go with Can and Lucas deep and Coutinho, Lallana and Milner between them and Sturridge. Between the 5 of them they can run over Spurs midfield.

Can't see anything but a comfortable win for Liverpool by at least 3 goals.

Weird feeling not hating any of United, Everton or Spurs. Ferguson, Moyes and Redknapp used to make my blood boil but they all have very likable managers now.

Hopefully Spurs-Liverpool will be something like the Dortmund-Leverkusen game from earlier this season with mad pressing on both sides and chances created every few minutes. Mason, Dier and Son out is huge for us. Especially Son, I've been very impressed with how well he makes the others play. Not worried about Eriksen as we are a top 8 team. Kane deciding to turn it on is worrying, he mugged off Skrtel and Sakho pretty bad last time. Should be exciting.

I think they would find wonderful stuff if they would take a peek at the 2002 one

Would like to be a fly on the wall for all the elite level back stabbing and epic arse covering that is going on in FIFA.

I bet if you work there the office politics is about 1000000 times more challenging than your actual day job of opening brown envelops and counting the contents.

There's a rumour going around that Sturridge has got injured in training.
