Is it worth pointing out Plop couldn't beat the colossal team that is MALAYSIAN XI or are all underperformances in friendlies lols-protected ?

Cinarocket,

You should NEVER refrain from loling at plop, ever.

Far be it from me to stop anyone lol'ing at plop, but pre-season friendlies mean FA.

If we're LOL'ing the Malaysian XI loss then surely there is some LOL's left over for the Chelsea loss to an MLS Reserve Squad

I watched the game in the background.

-Origi isn't ready, there's promise and he has talent but he's like a technically gifted Ngog at this point. Ings is above him in the pecking order.
-Lovren still looks bad, he actually could have had a hat trick today by the looks of it
-Joe Gomez might be ahead of Moreno at left back
-Ibe gonna pip Coutinho to that Ballon d'Or
-When everyone's fit I've no idea what the best side is

Decent feet from Raheem here.

Kirk Broadfoot got a 10 game ban for using sectarian abuse towards James McClean. His own fans reported him, well done them.

Good enough for the bigot bastard I suppose tho it is a bit funny the Scottish rags have completely ignored the 'sectarian' element.

Isn't broadfoot the guy who can't cook eggs?
07-24-2015 , 04:19 PM
Among other things, yes he is.

Mignolet

Clyne Can Skrtel Gomez

Henderson Milner Coutinho

Firmino

Sturridge Benteke

That would be mine however as Sturridge is very injury prone and we have Europa League + domestic cup games there will be plenty of rotation and game time for the likes of Ibe, Lallana, Ings, Markovic etc.

Thank ****

Since when is Can a CB? Has always been DM / CM?! What the hell have you done to him?
07-25-2015 , 06:41 AM
Lots of players at plop's disposal but I think Brentan is the man to figure out how to use the squad.

First XI in a 4-2-3-1, something like:

Can
Skrtel Sturridge Coutinho Ibe
Firmino Benteke
Moreno Bogdan Enrique
Allen

Don't think we'll be seeing Can at CB this season, though sadly I'm not sure where else he can get games. For me it's

Mignolet
Clyne Skrtel Sakho Gomez
Henderson Milner
Coutinho
Firmino Benteke Sturridge

It really depends on who we're playing though. Against a top side and/or away from home I think we play more of a diamond with Lucas or maybe Can at the back. Otherwise I think we can afford to keep Henderson back there and really have a go against the lesser teams. Ibe quickly in for Firmino if he's revealed as a bust in that lineup for me. Ibe is gonna stud so hard

So an 18 y/o CB signed from league 1 is now plop's consensus best LB after two preseason friendlies?
07-25-2015 , 07:51 AM
Opening game v Spurs

--------------------------DDG-------------------

Valencia --- Smalling --- Jones ---- Shaw

------------Carrick -- Schnederlin

Memphis------Mata----------Young

------------Rooney----------------
