I'm not sure that's right. Reference?

Bolt (independent of whether with or without drugs) is a one off freak. So no.

The atheletics records are a little weird since pre~1980 few people could sustain a career in athletics, even given working for the army in EE or USA.

But Bob Hayes, winner of the 100m at the 64 Olympics, was at least of the same/similar quality as the non-Bolt people now running. [Hayes made a living becoming a HOFer wide receiver in the NFL.]

ancelotti wants to come back to the pl (odd how all these high profile managers have recently found out that they love the pl style of play and so forth)
I'm in favour of the Brent One replacing Comrade Pulis at WBA if possible. As advised by MF:

I can see him just taking some time off and getting a team that is going to be lower risk high reward similar to Swansea. Maybe if WestBrom or Stoke can't get their **** together quick enough.

Hodgson boring 4-4-2 works better in an international knockout format imo.
Also the reasoning of France is going to fail because that's what they do is a bit flawed given that they have won the last 2 tournaments in French.
Germany is going to put the accelerator on once games actually matter( aka: last 16) .

Spuds winning by 3 would be so epic
10-13-2015 , 09:14 AM

10-13-2015 , 09:17 AM
Not really, just want to see how RAWK would react to the quick deflation of the Klopp boom. I quite like Klopp and happy he joined plop

If we lose: the manager can't change it overnight

If we win : klopp goat , must have made an expert prematch speech
10-13-2015 , 09:51 AM
yea i think they'll give klopp a no strings attached free pass till next season starts, he could take them into 14th and it'd be ok, new system needs time to implement, needs to bring his own signings in etc

but if they aren't looking like a 4th+ place team next august/september there's going to be hell to pay
10-13-2015 , 09:52 AM
I actually think Klopp will get a free ride on the hard part of the fixtures. You may see a meltdown if we don't do well in the December run

fat on fat violence as sam takes the piss out of the spanish waiter in his 'Fat Sam' autobiography:

Quote:
He added: "Rafa Benitez was another one. When we beat his Liverpool team he would complain 'They don't play my type of football.'

"What was that, then? Winning football? He didn't like me and he thought he was superior.

"Here was a trendy foreign manager with all his smart ideas getting beat by some oik from the Midlands.

"Benitez wouldn't talk to me at all and that just made it all the better when we won.

"Of course he can say he won the Champions League with Liverpool, which is something I never did. But it was nowt to do with him.
10-13-2015 , 09:55 AM
What if they get relegated?
10-13-2015 , 10:15 AM
Gotta love Big Sam. Just joined Sunderland after being let go by West Ham but damn if that's going to stop him from putting Wenger and Rafa in their place.
10-13-2015 , 10:29 AM
It's the TFO/TSO alliance at work.
10-13-2015 , 10:33 AM
And yes klopp will be getting credit for 'steadying the ship' as he guides pool to 6th place (1 over) this season.

They have an alliance? TFO was tea-bagging him after that 0-0 draw a couple of years ago.

Pretty much this.

the blame for any losses will lie with Rodgers until the end of the season. Klopp can do no wrong.
10-13-2015 , 10:50 AM
Klopp gets a free ticket to the rest of the season no matter what happens (excluding the super extreme options)

That was before ducksauce posted the xg. TFO apologized and they're mates again.
