Still waiting for a Wenger presser where he explains everyone that he is the best and it would be a huge mistake firing him

Been waiting 12 years for a Wenger presser where he explains how proud he is to have won the league.

Last season there were quite a few home games where there was tickets available at the ticket office on the day of the game.

This.

If we're only judging manger ability on 8-11 game periods from top of the league to nobodies I raise wenger's many successes:

Top of the league to nowhere

23/02/2008 to 13/04/2008 (8 points / 8 games)

or

Nowhere to nowhere

03/01/2006 to 25/02/2006 (8 points / 8 games)

or

Top of the league to nowhere (Final 11 games of the season)

05/03/2011 to 22/05/2011 (12 points / 11 games)

Makes perfect sense.

As an Aussie I don't at all wish hate on England in their every endeavour. In fact, if there's ever a London NFL team, I will be an immediate and passionate fan.

But God, do I ever wish doom and destruction upon your football team. The schadenfreude of English failure in the one sphere in which you desperately wish to succeed is indescribably delicious.

How could I forget - it was only a year ago:

Top of the league to nowhere

08/02/2014 to 06/04/2014 (9 points / 9 games)

He's quite good at this.

in for palace shock top 4 trophy -> alan pardew, england's manager

zaids, you're going back to 2006 for wenger examples, mou has two of those in ~the last 18 months mate

remember in the suarez year when you were 9 pts clear in march & odds on to win the title and then lost to villa and sunderland or something like that
10-08-2015 , 07:56 AM
Nah that was at it's worst 6 games / 9 points.

The point you are missing due to hate blindness is that its not so bad to have some low point runs in an 18 month period if there is League title sandwiched between them, it pretty much renders the first run moot.

Pards will manage England at some point.

No one said that tho, nice try.

Just saying one LOL does not a LOL Arse make.

No one is saying there is no LOL.

hot take:

hendrix's all along the watchtower is not definitively better than dylan's original

If that makes you sleep better, fine

lol this interpretation. At this point we're comparing his record with lolwenger. That's how bad this season is.
10-08-2015 , 08:03 AM
Its totally true tho, anyone arguing the other side is just straight up tripping.

Of course the season is young still has the potential for Chelsea to reach the dizzying standards of LOL set by Wenger.

But seriously, if Chelsea don't beat shergoat next week how hard will Roman be twitching? A great performance coupled with the kind of runbad arsenal have had last 12 years resulting in a 2-2 draw means he's gone, right? Or do we hope for a 1-0 off Ivanovic's huge arse to keep results oriented Roman happy?

The thing that would help us out of our slump is if we could just play Arsenal every week.
