Fifa Ethics Committee provisionally suspends Sepp Blatter, Michel Platini & Jerome Valcke for 90 days.

How much actual work do you suppose those guys get through in 90 days?

So, I started watching Mr. Robot after reading about it ITT. It started out really, really good, but the last episode I watched went full Naked Lunch. How the **** do you let something this good take such a massive nosedive? Holy **** lol.

Anyways, the whole atmosphere and vibe of the show reminded me of that show called Utopia. Now, kingweed has already heard me praising this show into the high heavens (and he's a glue sniffing, ****ing idiot for still not having watched it), and now you guys get to, too.

This show is a ****ing masterpiece. If you liked what Dr Robot could have been, I'm pretty sure you'll like it. It's obviously not comparable 1:1, but as I said, the general vibe is there. It's interspersed with bits of pretty good and dark humour, too. Plus, the cinematography is ****ing excellent. Often times shots are composed like paintings. And it's pretty short, which I think is an overall plus, too. It doesn't even give itself the time to start sucking in, I don't know, season 8 like so many other shows do. Two seasons, six episodes each. You can binge watch this on a weekend if you want to. Perfect.

I'm not going to say too much about the story, as I myself usually like to know as little as possible about the actual plots before I watch something. So, as briefly as possible, it's about a group of people , a mysterious, prophetic manuscript (The Utopia Manuscript), and a seemingly omnipotent organization chasing those people for this manuscript.

Oh, and the muricans are planning to make a murican version of it soon. So watch it now before they make it into a turd. And for the hipster-cred, of course, of having watched the original before the murican turd came out.

im glad Platini is implicated as well, he was being mooted as a Blatter replacement but is obviously in it up to his eyeballs.

Not sure the number. 4? The one where he tries kicking the Morphine and they show a solid 10-15 minutes of him hallucinating.

I like how it is "weakness" from Arsenal to stick to a manager, but now Chelsea needs to act in a different way, a "position of stability, a position of trust"

Not so weak when that manager has won you two titles.
10-08-2015 , 07:22 AM
yea but wenger has never been in charge of an arsenal team as pathetic and embarrassing as 2015/16 chelsea, we're comparing apples and oranges

even the team that got humped 8-2 (and iirc responded by losing to steve kean's blackburn the game after?) had more points after 8 games

On the whole there has been a lot more LOL from Wenger than TSO, when TSO only gets top4 for the next infinity+1 years and crashes out of every cup competition to basically pub teams even in finals then we are talking equivalence.
10-08-2015 , 07:28 AM
ya but equivalence also requires arsene spending three quarters of a billion more quids

(fella im talking gross spend, not net spend gross spend)
10-08-2015 , 07:30 AM
TSO is obviously failing hard now, but one swallow does not a Wenger make. Wenger has swallowed a lot more.
10-08-2015 , 07:31 AM
here's the thing, liverpool owned arsenal in the 1st half by high pressing and never played nearly so frenetically or created such high xG ever this season, before or since

t4 trophy is good as kloppools imo

It totally does not, even Wigan won a cup during the Wenger lol years, and also Wenger can spend moah if he wants to, integral to his lol is his lack of use of potential spend.
10-08-2015 , 07:32 AM
question, if jose gets sacked in the new couple months and chelsea fail to make top 4 does his record of always qualifying for the CL remain intact?
10-08-2015 , 07:33 AM
yea wenger not spending out of choice is a black mark i will grant you that one
