Did anyone watch that Rooney thing? It's up on iplayer, don't know whether it'll be worth while watching it or not.

I just watched it and loved it, I got goosebumps a few times during it. It was very well shot, Rooney seemed pretty honest and open.

I am a United fan though, so it actually might be boring if you don't like him.

I'm 10 minutes in, decent so far.

Saw it last night. My kid loved it when he was doing scenes with Donkey and Puss in boots.

3 year deal apparently. Announced by the end of the week.

Like BAIDS said, there will probably be inflated expectations now. The reality is that our whole team hinges on Sturridge being fit since we can't score goals otherwise. Even with Sturridge fit I don't expect to make top 4, but it would be nice to stay in the top 6 at least.

I really cannot see Klopp being anything but an unmitigated disaster there.

This better be a trainwreck on an AVB scale

Was Klopp good in the transfer market or do Dortmund have a sports director/scouting staff who did most of that for him?

Take it with a grain of salt but I think Zorc/Watzke did most of the transfer business. Although I think they were always looking for players that fit Klopp's style.

I don't think the people who matter will have inflated expectations, but there's definitely a good portion of RAWKLAND that will expect a title challenge right away.

Doesn't help that the schedule is pretty brutal for whichever manager helps to take over. That could lead to some quick "BRENDAN BACK" talk...

Why disaster?
10-05-2015 , 09:32 PM
I think the best part of the Klopp era will be the first days before we lose to Spurs.

klopp is actually a student of the game and obsessively trains his players on positioning and speed

think any semblance of good counter-pressing would pozz lolpl tbh, and it'll be easy to demonstrate the worth of which to the players by having lovren and skrtel on the defending team
10-05-2015 , 09:37 PM
I think Klopp can either end up with everybody injured and 9th place or with us playing CL football regularly within his tenure.

damn. that could make plop actually interesting.

nothing more intimidating in the world of football than klopp's plop attacking the kop end, though they may rename it the klopp end pretty quickly.

i will say this is a ****ing massive downgrade in teeth whiteness though.

problem is pool is mostly brits who are too stupid to understand a coherent team press and cb's who are lol wrt to stepping up to help the press so you might get a manyoo vs arsenal lolpress

sakho will play, only cb with recovery speed if the press gets beat and obv firmino too. ings/sturridge/firmino/benteke should be capable of being the 1st line of press, coutinho mite be too stupid so it really depends on discipline and tactical intelligence of henderson and milner and maybe lolemrecan to interpret the situation which mite just super duper lolcakes or magically super effectively and they release sturridge and co against bewildered defenders with numerical parity and a lot of space a bunch of times

good thing for my bet vs bandit obv than if lolrodgers continued

you are nailed on for 5th +/-1 every year by $c.r.e.a.m.$

Have Liverpool odds to finish top 4 moved since the Rodgers sacking?
