I've been told the new manager will be...

Spoiler:

If I accept that Klopp is a managerial genius, how does he overcome the dunces that have been making the decisions on the transfer committee? How do any of those ****s survive?

well, with klopp in place top players will want to come to liverpool so the likes of reus and koke will become available for consideration by the transfer committee, whereas under brent they were not

The amount of money spent on absolute rubbish is actually scary

Brandin seems like an obvious fit when villa or newcastle job becomes available. it is going to be a bloodbath season.

They'd probably have opted for Rickie Lamber instead.

They're hardly on their own in that regard, but having rocked up with the whole moneyball thing and then having done a massively worse job than a committee of half a dozen of the better posters from 2+2 would have done, it's ****ing terrible. They've been outperformed recently by a couple of dildo salesmen and Businesswoman of the Year, which isn't a good look.

The combination of Brendan's arrogance and the sheer unpleasantness of Mike Ashley is too good not to happen.

You can probably add whichever horrible appointment Sunderland make to that list. If they're smart they'll opt for Allardyce, but they have repeatedly shown that they aren't, so they probably won't.

I just hope wherever Rodgers ends up has at least £15million to give him so he can take Joe Allen with him.

The sacking was needed but I still feel bad for the guy. I think the Lovren saga cost him the job in the end. It left him with very little credit.
10-04-2015 , 03:25 PM
in hindsight which of those signings turned out to be the worst value? close between balo and lovren i'd think
10-04-2015 , 03:26 PM
Too early to write off all of them, though.

Balotelli may have a decent season with Milan and we can get a good chunk of money back from him. Its definetly Lovren.

Balo by far. He had two positives his entire Anfield career.

On what level do you feel bad for him?
