I think the story of the Premiership from 2010 onwards is one that shows how bloody hard it is to win the Premiership back to back. Only Fergiegoat (5 times) and Mourinho (once) have ever done it...since 2010 we've seen Ancelotti sacked (although he wasn't too far away); Fergie blow up right at the end; Mancini sacked after a lacklustre defence; Fergie retired; Moyes sacked after a terrible defence; Pellegrini lucky to stay after a completely underwhelming second season; Mourinho falling off a cliff.

Reading Fergie's book he reiterates how hard it is to keep a title winning team motivated to perform to their best...this decade is proving it.

Mourinho interview is amazing. Top 4 could be in danger if they don't get it sorted.

This is old and I'm sure I'm the last to see, but it makes me want to become a Spurs fan retroactively.

that interview was pretty soon after the FT whistle. in retrospect he might wish he'd cooled off for 10 minutes longer. or maybe it's just Jose being Jose however long after FT it was.

Don't think they're pursuing Klopp at all. In fact, someone has warned them off Klopp for some reason.

City were fine last year. Table grossly distorts how close Chelsea arse and city actually were. Aguero went 50 shots with out a goal for one stretch when they tanked points. Pretty ridiculous. Meanwhile Chelsea god moded everything .

Chelsea ran good last year, but the crazy thing is you can't even say they're running bad this year. If you had watched their games and had no previous knowledge of their team, you would have no idea many or most of their players are elite or considered world class. Fabregas, Matic, Hazard were three of the top 10 players in the league last season. They've been absolutely awful between them.

Mane is really good. Hopefully a big team doesn't ruin him.
I'm not hopeful at all about the game tomorrow and have my own championship game at the same time so that sucks...unless we win ldo.

Ya Chelsea's stats are in line with results. Why their stats dropped so drastically is what needs to be figured out. I honestly have no idea other than non fact base shot in the dark theories

wonder what Chelsea fans make of Jose dropping the target to top 4

Would love United to pick up Mane in Jan. Could play 10 or RW and gives us some options if Rooney/Martial/Mata get injured, could play in the CL too.

Martial has been great and hit the ground running more than I imagined he would, but Mane would have been just as prolific so far imo.

In for the lol Chelsea. Go the Saints!
10-03-2015 , 05:34 PM
The fact the ground work has been put in for Mane is good at this point in time.

10-03-2015 , 05:57 PM

10-03-2015 , 06:06 PM
It's very close. But as it's still arch-**** Mourinho in charge I think this beats it.
