The safest picks at that mark are the Watford strikers. Deeney and Ighalo will play most minutes and although Watford won't score many goals, I reckon one of these two will be involved in the majority.

For somebody looking to be a bit more adventurous, Bojan at 5.3 has a lot of upside. On a points per min basis, I think he's going to be great value. What puts me off is I think he'll get hooked at the hour mark a frustrating amount of time (Stoke are stacked with decent forward options) and he seems a bit injury prone.

I swapped to Ighalo but only because I couldn't free up funds for an upgrade. If you can afford a little more, Berahino looks good value at 6.2.

I went for Ighalo, which means you should probably pick Deeney.

Why not Vardy? Best fixtures, involved in all the goals, free scoring team, nailed on
09-29-2015 , 08:33 AM
I have exactly 6.1mill that is why I can't go for Berahino or Vardy...thought about Jerome as well. Ighalo prolly better option

Is it even a thing that supporters of EPL teams herd together in Europe (would have thought the opposite was more likely)?

Does anybody think the EPL would be better if one team was >80% to win it before the start of the season?

Yeah, Bayern will win the Bundesliga but nobody gives the slightest **** about that because nobody watches it because it's terrible. Then they'll get dicked by Real Madrid or Barcelona in either the quarters or semis of the Champions League. Extremely predictable and nothing of note won. Oh how exciting to be a Bayern fan.

No, that'd be dreadful

Nope, it would be extremely boring and you wouldn't get gigantic tv deals.

Also Bayern are >90% to win it at the start.

Arsenal are running pretty terribly so far this season tbf. Not helping themselves by benching 10points in a massive game for some unknown reason.

Some Dale Johnson character that writes for espn on twitter:

"Dale Johnson ‏@dalejohnsonESPN 42m42 minutes ago
So far this season, England has increased lead over Italy in coefficients by 0.959 points. Lead actually stretched."

Just think it's weird of SN to pitch it as league vs. league when he's on the wrong side of that argument by a million miles. He should make the most of the remaining approx. 2 years that he'll support the 3rd best team in the world and pitch it club vs. club.

It was ok even 5 years ago. Bayern would win most of the time but wolfsburgs, stuttgarts even bremens were allowed to win the odd title as long as things went back to normal the following year. But then klopp and dortmund had the cheek to win two in a row, around the same time chelsea stole a european cup right out of their cabinet and the bayern higher ups got so mad they decided "enough is enough" so the charity ended and they bought all the best players from their rivals and raided their youth teams. Now their fans get satisfaction from the failings of others and barely blink at a 5-0. Remember when winning 5-0 in europe, **** anywhere, was a big deal?
But it's not for us to judge. It's just how they do things over there.
09-29-2015 , 06:07 PM
To be fair, indisputably THE most crucial signing in the last 5 years has been Javi Martínez, and he did not come from a rival. It's true, though. The 2011-12 season, as painful as it was, has been pivotal in recent developments at Bayern. I guess you can make a case for Neuer, too.

You can believe me, however. We are happy about winning 5 - 0. Trolling you guys is a lot of fun, too, though. In general, and I went on the record about this, I couldn't care less about league vs league (and I'm most often rooting against German teams in Europe). But the snobbish tblitw attitude from some people just lends itself perfectly to get trolled the **** out of, especially after LÖLtastic performances by English teams internationally year in year out without mother****ing fail.
09-29-2015 , 06:21 PM
The problem is tblitw has become so good teams have developed a WIL towards champions league just like they did with the Europa

We need a super champions league just for the English teams
