To be fair, Markovic, at least right now, might have pace, but he lacks pretty much everything else.

This is probably the reason why our player recruitment is so ****ed up. Rodgers brought in players this past summer specifically for the 4-3-3 and now we are back to playing a variation of 3-4-3.

Plus the absolute abject results and performances this year are ****ing god awful.
first season under him you looked dodgy when he implemented his 'philosophy'. it seems to be ignored that this was abandoned the season you nearly won the league as you seemed to play much more direct and rely on the sterling, suarez, sturridge strike force. now they've perhaps reverted to type and again struggling. never been remotely convinced by him, but still finished 6th last season. think he deserves this season tho, anything less than 6th don't think he couldn't complain about being sacked.

@Simon_Rowntree: Brendan Rodgers has travelled to Boston to have talks with LFC owners FSG, could be sacked. (Via @ForestEchoNews)

Busquets technique is all wrong. The hands should never move, less body movement - he should be playing almost dead. In fact he shouldn't even be using two hands. He's all exposed to getting caught.

Pool fans are in a tricky spot wrt to overall satisfaction where 5th is right but feels ****. I just don't think change this early in the season is the solution here.
He hasn't found the right balance for well over a year now. It's his 4th season and he's spent close to 300m and we still suck and have an unbalanced squad. You can blame the transfer committee but Rodgers has said more times then I can count that no players get brought in without his approval.

True, he struggled last year but wasn't really ever played in his best position.

lol Forest Echo News, literally not being reported anywhere else.

I guess there was the 3 month period last season in between United games where they went unbeaten, plenty of wins and were getting pretty close in the 4th place trophy race. iirc they were pretty unlucky in both those games against united and really those swing in points in those fixtures can be difference between making 4th and not. But as I said it's right to be concerned, I just don't think a new guy will make much difference to pool.

Don't just talk about spend...

ZAIDS has clearly shorted Liverpool massively and is currently talking his book.

My guess is that he's got until Christmas and if we're not close to top 4 then he'll be gone. Unless of course the wheels completely fall off in the next few games. Our next run of fixtures is pretty brutal.

Villa- H
Everton - A
Tottenham - A
Southampton - H
Chelsea - A
Palace - H
City - A
Swansea - H

Realistically we're probably not going to be picking up enough points in those fixtures to get us around the top 4 spots.

Yea I don't really either. The damage has been done with this mass buying of players that don't seem to fit a long term plan.

We've somehow ended up with a midfield 3 that rivals the worst in the league. I don't mind all 3 individually (although Milner is overrated in this thread) but together it's awful.

Lol he threw a dirty elbow two weeks ago against Everton.
About half the stuff he does is dirty, the other just classless
09-21-2015 , 12:26 PM
Costa's just been charged for violent conduct btw.
09-21-2015 , 12:28 PM
1 game ban please!
09-21-2015 , 12:32 PM
i guess slapping Kos is supposed to be the "violent" part? lol
09-21-2015 , 12:34 PM
Hopefully he'll just miss Walsall away.
09-21-2015 , 12:38 PM
If you touch someone's face in any capacity in a violent manner it's auto 3 game ban and red. So should be 6 games since he did it twice imo.

course

and if jt hadn't fallen on his arse in moscow we might be wondering whether the best managerial talent in the game today is jurgen klopp, diego simeone, pep guardiola or avram grant
09-21-2015 , 01:29 PM
Di Matteo tho
09-21-2015 , 01:36 PM
team was old and crap by then ala mun 2012/13, it needed serious spunking to get back to fighting shape.

but a CL win in 08 = roman might be in the mood to splash the rubles, and it woulda been right around the time that a certain leonel messi started looking like a possible goat. never know..

instead they lost & he bought deco and unibrow.

Rodgers getting sacked is no good for my United vs Liverpool $$

I've no idea what Liverpool fans itt actually want. Your wage bill is such that you should never be out of 5th-7th. Deal with it.

You ran superhot to bink having one of the top3 players itw for a couple of seasons. Enjoy the memories of that 2nd place finish and the goals from that 100 goal season.

It's only going to get worse from here on in as your position in the wage-spend table goes down season on season due to Teh-Porn-Baron-Olympic stadium, Holloway Rd-tubestation-stadium, etc etc
