think you gotta get rid of dier as a dmf... he slows ur team down so much, his passing from the deep positions is woeful, he can pass side to side fine but that is all.

Absolutely. I just have some concern about defensive strength with the other options. Just illustrates why we desperately needed to sign a CM this summer. Alli needs to be the freer of the two as he was today. Bentaleb could perhaps do it, Mason also needs to be freer. Carroll as well.

I think Poch is going to stick with Dier honestly. It looks like we have made some adjustments where Dier is basically dropping deep into a back three with Alli playing super high.

Why Rose can't get a game over Davies I have no idea.
