Re: English Football 2015-16

Oh I see someone's already made the point on the Chinese imports - I looked at those and tbh I think the Vodafone offers comparable if not better specs for the price bracket, plus if something goes wrong it'll be a much easier job dealing with them than some Chinese company. But definitely worth taking a look at them if the price is right.

if i want to start lifting weights but want to get rid of stomach fat (im skinnyfat, like pretty dam skinny), whats the best way to approach it with calories? Just try to hit my daily calorie burn number or do the standard 2k+ cals and hope the fat just goes?

Dont know why im asking this part of the forum and not the other specific part, but you guys are my homies

Re: English Football 2015-16

I've been incredibly skinny my entire life, too. But after I had quit smoking, packed on 20 kilos (not going to work out what that equates to in your ******o units) like it was nothing. Skinny **** with a belly has to be one of the most ugly things in this world, so one day I decided to do something about it.

I believe I (and I guess most if not all naturally skinny dudes) had it way easier than actual fat people, though. It really wasn't that big of a deal to get back to a normal skinny looking body. I didn't follow any strict plans or counted calories or any of that ****. All I did was cut out the crap I put into my body as a habit I had developed to substitute for the copious amounts of cigarettes I used to smoke on a daily basis.

I eat when I'm hungry and I eat however much I want of it. I just tend to eat **** that actually has some nutritional value and satiates you for longer than the usual junk food. For example, my breakfast these days tends to be oats mixed with a Banana, a handful of frozen berry mix (from Aldi) and half a litre of milk. Put in blender, drink, don't think about food for a few hours. Tastes amazing and fills you up for a long time.

For the more scientific approach, I'm sure cashy has some input as he seems to care a lot about stuff like this. But from skinny **** to skinny ****, this is my advice.

i've heard the best route is to start by gaining weight (muscle & fat) by lifting stuff and eating 3k-3.5k kcals/day, and then once you've done that for some months you can start worrying about shifting the fat

skinny fat -> strong fat -> strong notfat

No expert on this as only reference point is myself. But eat well (most of time), if you drink - drink less (quality over quantity), resistance work, football and/or (sprints/running - skipping/swimming alternatives), less taxi more walky. Don't have to burn out doing any of this and most are fun and it will just become normal routine.

Burnss, check out the health and fitness subforum on 2+2, especially the FAQ and beginners questions thread or alternatively PM aidan. tl;dr slight caloric deficit at the start while doing a basic novice program like GSLP.

I'm just coming to the end of my Samsung S4 contract and I will never get a Samsung ever again.

Awful phones, full of bloatware, terrible battery life, unstable and constant updates that make the OS worse.

Guess the S6 could be better, but I've heard the same old problems from ppl with the S5 too..

SS+GOMAD obv

but srsly..

To lose stomach or any fat at the most optimal pace, eat at about 500kcal deficit and lift weights with some low intensity cardio thrown in once or twice a week on off days. Since you said you are more skinny and not that fat, I'd even suggest a smaller deficit or even eating maintenance but keep the cardio. At your stage there is more than one way to achieve your goals and plenty of room for drastic adjustments depending on how you like your progress.
I am assuming you know how to calculate TDEE/maintenance etc. As far as lifting regimen goes, get on any program whose description sounds similar to 'full body workout with compound lifts'
